You can. If you will manage to change your activity... whats the difference between a post and an activity?

The activity number is determined in this way: time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration activity = min(time * 14, posts)
Activity is updated every 30 minutes.

You can. If you will manage to change your activity... whats the difference between a post and an activity? You basically need to make at least 1 post every two week period to get your 14 activity points. I guess the activity confuses most at first, especially since it goes up with your post count up until the 14th point.

You need 50 activity points to sign up. The activity number is determined in this way: time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration activity = min(time * 14, posts)
Activity is updated every 30 minutes.

You could start on 10 posts as long as you had the activity. You need to make a minimum of 50 during the month though.

Oh so the rules changed? I'm sorry I didn't knew that. I recall the need for 50+ posts and 50+ activity when I signed up.

Nah, they're the same, but I can see how you got confused by the way it's worded. Most people will have 50 posts by the time they have 50 activity anyway.

Something that has come to my attention is that certain people have been using bots to boost their post count, namely in the off-topic sections. What these bots will do is copy and paste exactly a previous post on an earlier page of a thread such as "what music are you listening to". Thanks to a user looking out for us, we found a few of these abusers today and have revoked their permission to advertise for us. If you attempt to do this, I guarantee you will not get away with it and are wasting your time.
Good work to those involved in identifying this. The crackdown on abusers helps PD and its legitimate participants keep their credibility. Although that bot is rather crude in what it does, it's a rather effective tool. Of course, somebody is bound to notice something fishy. Does this crap actually still work? I mean in this day and age with captchas (not that there are any here, of course) and all the other ways to prevent such things, is it really worth the time and effort? Well, to be more clear, people will always put in the time and effort regardless of the outcome, but is it effective?

Well, to be more clear, people will always put in the time and effort regardless of the outcome, but is it effective? It probably isn't any effort to set up a bot, but they're not very effective as they're very easy to spot. I don't know what most of the ones that flood the forums are actually intended for though.

0.0003BTC Per constructive post
50 Posts minimum to claim, must have 50+ activity to begin term starting January 17th
8000 Posts Max = 2.4 BTC
Aww, I only got paid for 0.0002 per post last month. Also; is 8000 posts even possible? What is the closest anyone came last month when it was 4000? The best per-post rate last month (Feb) was 0.0002 (for PD, bit777 and others). But then, a new competitor shown up on 18 Feb with a tempting price 0.0003 ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=472953.0) I don't think 8000 non-spamming post (266 posts a day) is possible at all lol. You'd have to make a new post every 3 minutes for 13 hours a day, every day of the month. Realistically, there's no way to read a thread, digest the information, formulate a constructive response, and then type it out every 3 minutes for 13 hours in one day, let alone EVERY day. This is the interwebs, not reality. Last time I checked, the internet was part of reality. So your post has to be constructive? And i thought that we just have to avoid spamming, flaming, +1 posts and the like Posts that are not constructive are actually against the forum rules, not just Stunna's. Just as a heads up.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.

I if I lived in an LDC, making $3 an hour, this would be much better. Working 24 hours a day, it would take a post every 4 Minutes, 30 Seconds.

Stunna should probably put a big warning to read the rules or the original post thoroughly before applying.
