I like OMG because it’s both a blockchain and a payment platform. OMG has a partnership with McDonalds Thailand, which means they have at least done something outside the crypto world. Many tokens on crypto are just predictions and attempts to create something. The good ones are those who have a live product and are currently using it in the real world.

I've seen a lot of cryptocurrencies trying to top off bitcoin with their benefits in investing and having wallets. Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin and many more, but as far as I know these altcoins are doing their very best to dethrone bitcoin, as of now I wanna know about these altcoins more, I wanna know what would be the best cryptocurrency for you, remove bitcoin on the list, what is the best altcoin after bitcoin? Give me your insights about it.
One of the best coins for investment according to me is CIVIC. It is a coin based upon the idea of identity verification with help of Blockchain technology. It is decentralized and secure. The team of civic platform is also very strong and you can expect good amounts of growth in the future. You can expect the price of civic to be near 3$ by end of this year for sure.

Steem is the best to me. It has a transaction speed of 3 seconds and ZERO fees! It has reached 1 million transactions yet it didn’t even slow down, unlike Ethereum with their Cryptokitties. Steem only used less than 1% of the bandwidth.

ARK impresses me a lot. More than any altcoin I’ve seen, it is functional. Basically every detail about this coin makes it obvious that the developers have put hard, skillful labor into it. The wallet works smoothly, the delegated proof of work system is implemented and working fine, and actual ARK transactions are quick and cheap (though it remains to be seen if this keeps up under heavy network load).

Very interesting altcoyin is GBYTE. Anonymous coin. The transaction is generated using DAG system. The team did not do ICO. I think we should watch this coin in 2018.

I read in an article that Steemit is also introducing Smart Media Tokens next year!?! This means anyone can create their tokens and do crowdfunding or raise funds in some way. It will also help existing businesses to further monetize their websites. Ethereum’s network that allows people to use the Ethereum blockchain to create tokens is worth so much these days, i.e. over $600 per piece. Steem is only at $3.27 and it has a transaction speed of 3 seconds. I believe the potential is here.

Stellar extends the lightning-quick transactions to fiat currencies. For example, users can swiftly convert dollars to euros, rather than relying on cumbersome and expensive banking institutions. Recognizing the potential, International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) uses the stellar blockchain to develop a payments system with large banks.

With so much opportunity, and an accessible price point, stellar is one of the best altcoins to buy in 2018!

My favorite alt is eth, ltc, xlm and doge. But there are also some alt that I just added into the portfolio, they are neo, cnd and mth.

Ethereum and Dogecoin are definitely the two most important and the brightest coins to choose from. Especially considering the rapid rise of Ethereum and the appreciation of Dogecoin, it is very clear that investors are making serious gains within a year. I think they are two coins that will not be repetitive. Another thing to note is that it is useful to be careful when choosing Dogecoin wallets, some of the wallets playing my Dogecoins during the year we passed.

Ark is also a pretty fast coin (around 8 second transaction speed). It allows you to stake as well. Staking means you generate more coins from what you have. It’s also decentralized like other cryptos and the voting weight in Ark is divided across all votes. It also has an ArkShield program that provides additional protection to Ark. That's what I like about Ark's platform and I suppose that it will rise significantly this year!

Call one currency best probably no one can, of course if it is not bitcoin)) a Lot of different directions and platforms at the moment and to allocate one I think is simply unrealistic! But I keep one coin on which I have big plans is Universa (UPNP)

The best cryptocurrency for me is still Ethereum, i think ETH will reach its peak at the end of 2018 or maybe 2019.
Another altcoins that have a good prospect are AUTO, Ripple, Atlant, and NANO,
BTC of course will always maintain its position in the top, because there are so many people know about bitcoin.

It is difficult to actually talk about the price especially when it comes crypto. However, here's my list of coins that I am planning to hold for as long as I can-

-Onion (this project has constant development and solid marketing; the community is amazing and there is no doubt that this will be replacing Monero soon)

- GRIM (got into this project at the initial days and since then there was no looking back; the team is very friendly and supportive; community is growing each day and soon they will be launching masternode.)

-Cheese (this was a community driven project where Mouse coins(dead coin) was swapped for Cheese coin. Yet another community-driven project with amazing plans.

Thanks and have a nice day
