After assembling a replacement fan I got today from BA I got my X1 running. But it only hashes at ~65 GH/s and 700 Hz.

There are a lot of reasons nothing is really being done. I think a big portion deals with where they are located. The cost associated with pursing any type of legal recourse. You have to get back more than what you lost and what it cost. That is assuming the company has anything. Anything you think they have, they will some how manage to not have if the proper authorities were to be looking. So they go to jail. Okay, i guess that could be an end game for some.
Just because it isn't posted here doesn't mean someone isn't going after them.

Well I can confirm that I invested a lot more than 10k with BA through Minersource. Currently I have tried to work out something with Minersource but they have stopped responding to my messages. I will probably end up suing Minersource if they don't get their act together.

I only ordered 10 X1s but I'm sure if enough people got together we could do something.

Sue Minersource for what exactly? Im pretty hes even more screwed than everybody else, cause it was this guy's main business. He will likely be declaring bankruptcy, at least we can just write it off. In other news, Black Arrow responded to an email yesterday saying they cant ship my miner because they had to recall the power supplies, which I am aware of, but does anybody know if I just ask to receive it without a power supply installed will they ship to me as is? Its an expensive paperweight, a novelty item which Im planning on keeping as a testament to my own hubris. |

I sell industrial material, and there is an extensive process in adding a new supplier to the companies approved manufactures list. It takes mulitple on-time shipments of quality products before they will write them a $100,000+ purchase order. It is his fault for not knowing his supplier and jumping the gun with a huge purchase order, sue him. All or at least some of the heat he gets will be transferred on to black arrow, hopefully with a trip to china and some lawyers involved. |

I'm still in the same situation, ordered 2 X1's from Minersource last year now I'm still waiting for my promised refund. I bought the products from Minersource, they have my money I want it back just like Waramp22 has every right by law to have his money returned. It sucks for Minersource that they got screwed by Blackarrow but that doesn't mean they can just get away with not paying back their own customers. Check out this quote from Minersource owners I got from this crypto new site. For them it was customers first. Even when Black Arrow was being delayed over and over, they refunded their customers out of their own pockets to make it right. |

Well you see, to start because they have not refunded me a dime and I have asked for a refund in June. They did offer me some BTC Garden miners but that was not a viable option for me due to space and power requirements (my X3 order was to be hosted with Minersource). Then it would be the small matter of BA refusing to honor (according to MS) some of the promotions they have ran in the past that were part of my contract with Minersource. They didn't bother letting me know - maybe because they conveniently forgot or they were just afraid I would have asked for a refund right away since not keeping your promises is a clear indication of a shady company - once they have your money they suddenly forget all the promises/promotions/deadlines, etc. And third, because they have stopped communicating and therefore how can you expect any amiable resolution with someone that doesn't even want to communicate with you? |

If they will give you the same $ amount in different miners go with that if you can. What is happening here is the same thing that happens when any pissed off customers contacts a business regarding a problem with their product or in this case an extremely late delivery. The supplier tries to make it right at first, but after they realize they are in a deep hole with no options, and they really dont want to give you your money back for fear of draining the companies funds, they start deleting your emails and neglecting to call you back in hopes that you will just go away. Minersource fired up and put took a pile of Prospero orders from customers without assessing Black Arrow properly. Don't businesses in the US have to have liability insurance? |

I can't decide which is worse - to have a company with a history of making miners doing this whole pre-order shill (BlackArrow), the company that does the reselling and then can't deliver, communicate, or refund (MS), or just a complete scam company like playsellbuy -- who ripped me off and didn't ever plan on shipping stuff. But at least with that one you knew it was a scam.
At least BFL refunded customers when they realized that a $4500 600GH card no longer made sense.
Heck MinerSource wouldn't even refund my money for a "compensation" unit PSU -- or just allow store credit.
With Asic Tubes being about .8 BTC or about .001 BTC per GH, add in PSU, cases etc, BlackArrow should be delivering to everyone 5 X3 for each one ordered... Which isn't going to happen so it's just a big SCREW YOU to the customers.

Almost immediately after my last post MS sent an email saying they detected suspicious activity on my account and sent a link to reactivate it. Account is now reactivated and my order is still unfulfilled and not refunded.

So glad I convinced MS to give me store credit months ago. I feel bad for all you that are now getting jerked around by them too. At first I was feeling bad MS too I felt like they where just as much victims in this as us but after this long silence Im not so sure anymore.
This hole situation is totally fucked up. The fact that both companies are still in business is absolutely mind boggling to me. I can say with absolute conviction that I will never spend another dime with either MS or BAS. I hope others feel the same way and take action here.
