cscape: any updates on whether or not single chip designs will work?

thanks!

-a[g

I tried hashing the test vectors but got no response from the chip. This was still using a single chip. Next step is to  assemble a second board with the other sample chip.

When we get on our bike and start working on the A1 we would like to invite the EE's posting here to meet with our EE's might be good to have a sit down with everyone to discuss things.

Booooooo ;-(

On the other hand, I'm glad I never actually submitted my single chip board to the PCB house. I kept tweaking it and thankfully you posted your single chip troubles.

Thanks!

...

  • chips are offered at Bitmine's price for 500+ chips at time of order +8% (today 3.5$/GHps, including surplus: $4'725 / 50 chips)

...

Cheers,
zefir
[/size]

The price listed above is $4725/50= $94.50 each.  Looks like a great buy, especially considering the simplicity of the chip design.  Still, nearly $5k is just too much for me right now.

Anyone willing to part with just one or two of these chips?
