In the trading both ways are good I mean long term trading & short term trading, its depends on coins and condition. Some time when you see market is very high & there is big dump & pump then you can follow short term.
But if you want trading without any panic with a decent profit then long term trading is best option.

I believe that you have to hold on a little! because at the moment prices are not stable, but may fall but then you need to wait a bit and it will necessarily rise! and can and will rise and very well. and then you will not only get a good payback but also with a pleasant bonus!

So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?
Thanks
i do prefer longterm hold, it's very comfortable for me, i don't have to check the market every hours, but i invest in many altcoins that i think have a bright future, so the price will increase in the future, i usually sell my altcoins after the price increased in about two-three weeks.

At these days, daytrading makes more profit. Prices are going up and down. We see big movements and gives the possibility to buy. Then I sell the price again rising. long term investment is more reasonable in normal times but I am working on day trade

If you have no much time, long term hold is more safety.

It is better to hodl the half of the portfolio for a long term and do short time trade with the other half, of course if you have enough time to do that.

I haven't been in the crypto community that long but since i started, about a few months ago, i am quite active in joining bounty campaigns rather than trading. With the rewards i recieve, i tend to hold it for long term and just check on it once in a while, observe the trend. Once i get to reach my target or goal, the profit i gained is what i usually use in investing in other coins. I prefer this simce i get to manage my time very well and its more convenient for me. Although, tradind is also manageable but it requires so mich skill that i am yet to learn.

If you have some good value tokens or coins then try to hold but for your daily life requirement like paying some bills must trade and withdraw but as per requirement and hold for better future.
In my opinion, holding of any of the crypto coin especially when we talk about bitcoin is the best thing to do as the market value of most of the crypto coin keeps on going high and high most of the time. On the other hand, trading is also a good thing to do but you should only go for trading once you have this much of the knowledge and skillset that you can then perform better and make money out of it.

I prefer holding coins for long time will be better in this volatile market. Trading depends on the market situation,if the market has bull trend i will go long, but if the market is bearish short trades will be perfect. Holding your investment will eventually lead up to higher return because cryptocurrency have a big potential in increasing it’s market value.

Trade altcoin daily is not always works sometimes we need to wait and holding until the price is good. Do not sell when the price is down It's just you do not get any profit. I think mostly traders better to keep holding their coins for long term to get profits.

I think the best strategy playing with market are long term hold, daily trade are time consuming, only do it with enough time and emotional intelligence.

I prefer Long Term holding. This is because when I choose an altcoin, I choose the ones in its early stages which it has its low value in the market after buying, I would hold it for long-term waiting. I believe that I can profit more when holding my Altcoins rather than watching the Coins volatility all day long. Long-term is better for me because I can earn much more if I wait, rather than trading it in the early stages of development. In the end, It all depends on the status of the Altcoin. I always check the prices if it has skyrocketed, after the pump in my Investment, I tend to trade it immediately to ensure the high selling value of my Altcoins. So Short-term investments are optional depending on the status of the Altcoins.

I prefer holding long term but I sometimes trade some coins because if there is a obvious opportunity you should not miss it. Trade and hold, it depends on coins as well.
Although I would actually prefer trading if I have the time and resources, I actually don't have the choice now but to side on holding long term. I have a full time job, and all I can spare is a few hours a day to do ICOs and just hold on my coins with the hope that they would increase or maybe even search in value after a few months. Also, I think holding is the much safer and more passive approach, but you should also have more patience in following this path.

It depends on coins you have, and the experience you are going to use. If you are newbie it will be better for you to hold, and don't trade your last money, never. When you will get more experience and profit in some time, you may try one-day-trading, but only with that amount, you aren't feared to lose. May be this way is correct for you and a lot of people, but humans excitement makes a monkey from man.

I tried to trade. I made profit, but i have always one problem. I sold my coins with profit, but when i look back some weeks after my sell, is saw that i would make more profit if i just hold the coins. Since those experience, i hold almost any of my coin as long i need. Because with short term trades i dont make a lot of profit. I want more, and thats why i hold longer. With daytrades you can just make small profit.

I prefer a long-term hold to the alt coins that I have because I don't have enough time in hand at this moment to do day trading. But that doesn't mean I don't trust in the ICOs that I'm investing in. I will surely do day trading given the fact that I don't have any prior things to do that will complicate the time and effort that I should give to it.

You need a lot of time to daily trading and make instant profit, if not , I also prefer long term holding, it's really earn more profits than daily trading , other reason is I don't want regret later while coins rising x10 after I sold all my coins

If you are a large risk taker with good capitalization to go for it, you may indulge in trading of various predicted/speculated good coins, so that the weakness of one would be covered up by another, yet you still stand a better chance of making good profits out of this. But if you are a short risk taker on the other hand, better to hold on a long term basis.

I would also go with my preference as long term hold because that allows me enough time to think and act, but in day trading very less time doesn't allow to think it's just like a gambling. So I think long term holding will be a good option for the traders.
