I am a long term holder. For daytrading you need a lot of time, and when you work, its almost impossible to day trade. Because you have to be up to date the whole time. And other reason is, that i make much more profit with just holding then with daytrading. I think for daytrading you need alot of experience to generate a good profit.

thats great, IMO I will choose day trading instead of long term holding. Although holding is safer way to earn money than trading but it takes really long time, sometime it takes months or maybe even years for holder to earn good amount of money. But with day trading, everyone can earn good amount of money everyday if they're a good trader and have big capital to trade.

Each of these strategies is good. But we must understand that in order to achieve success in daily trading you need to have professional knowledge and good experience. This brings good profits, but the risk is also great. Hold is the easiest way. And sometimes he justifies himself.

Yep, day trading, unless following a group of professionals that gives you signals, it's a very risky business. Just do long term and you will do just fine.

Well, in this case whichever works would be a fine option. If you prefer to have quick money, trading is good. If you like to grow investments, the long term hold will work to. At the end of the day, the results will be the only thing that matters...

Im a long term holder but sometimes I do day trading if I see the market  have potential to gain me profit but right now I limit my trading because bitcoin is falling down and until now its not fully recover that cause falling of all altcoin in the market its better to hold altcoin or bitcoin for long term to gain a good profit.

sell or exchange altcoin we have with the condition of the price is down I think less good and better hold them in our wallet while waiting for the price back up and sell it to get the profit we want

When I was day trading I was mainly losing money. Now I've seen that if I hold long term instead, at some point I end up gaining. Therefore now my main strategy is long term.

It depends on the coin you are holding, look at whitepaper of that coin if the project seems good then it is better to hold. But if the projects do not seem profitable then just sell it off. As personal advice long-term holding is more profitable unless you are experienced in day trading and have enough time to keep your eyes on the news.

HODL and patience is a key to success in the crypto market.  Wink

For those new to investing and investing in the cryptocurrency market like mine, it is possible to make the most of long-term investment choices. Because of lack of experience and knowledge of cryptocurrency, trader is very risky. And the top choices are ETH and BTC. Depending on the funds and conditions of each person, we will plan effectively and scientifically.

I think both of them are really worth to do because they give you a lot of earning, but there are totally different because in trading you can immediately have earning while its value is rising, in holding you need to wait before you earn but possible in higher or lower in value because we dont know when it goes down or up.

I joined cryptocurrency market with holdings plan, maintained for long term investment and participated in learning ICO campaigns. Maybe it can not make a profit in a short time but that's my decision. Very complicated traders require a lot of experience.

I prefer to trade 50/50, because the market has high volatility, it can rise and fall in just a few hours and leave half the coins for the future.

So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?

Thanks

It will depend on you if you'd want to become a day trader or a long term holder. Most of the risks are placed into long term holding since you need to trust the power or the potential of the coin to move its price, to generate profit and make the waiting time worth it.

I think there is no very solid method for us to do the trading. It depends on the what coins you have nd how much money they can bring you and then you can choose the way to trade it.

I think day trader is risks than long term holding , just choose some big project and hold their tokens for long term, day trade need a lot of time and already check the market chart, I don
t like it because I don't have too much time and can't earn more profit

I'm trading it depends on the coin and depends on the market situation , Some coins do well on a long-term hold, also hodling some cryptocurrencies coming from airdrops which i believe a potential crypto that will burst in the future, but when the market started to decline or fail i will definitely do short tradings.

I also choose to prefer a long term as I experience it before selling it after a week it gave to you you won't feel the return of having a coin in  your wallet without holding it for a months or a year to come that's why now I use to be careful of selling my coin after experiencing that case.

To my mind,I prefer long term, but if you want short-term trading we can do altcoin trading every day,
If the market is down and unstable we must be careful to bring good profits, but the risk is also good.
