So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?

Thanks

I use both strategies. Most part of my portfolio is holded in main coins like BTC or ETH, but in the same time I use 20% of porfolio for daily trading.
Such trading takes a lot of time and more risky than just holding, but in the same time it may be more profitable.

I prefer long-term deduction because I consider that than longer what one, that the high price or value received as, for example, in bitcoin. when we begin to hold bitcoin, knowing that value isn't favorable yet, all of us hold it, and we are patient that its value will be more in the future that really occurs.

I consider that daily trade very difficult and tiresome. You have to follow him all the time and always have to behold. It is also very risky. For this reason I prefer long-term deduction.

Both aspects are important, but daytrading in current bloodbath is very risky business..
I have bought some dips, only to get 3 times cheaper after that..
So, it`s almost impossible to detect and predict future of the price..
Even that i love doing trading, but i dont want doing day trade because it is very risky and doing day trade is required to have a wide knowledge and i prefer a long term hold because i know that i can have a chance to earn more profit doing it.

I'm not particularly experienced in trading, so I started with buying coins for a long-term perspective, I will not get a profit with such coin rates and in half a year.

I choose long-term trading, because the human needs more and more day, so to overcome it we must have income in the long term as well.

I first invested in crypto 6 years back, in June 2012. Ever since that date, I have tried everything you can imagine with BTC and the alts, including day trading and gambling. When I compare my returns from day trading to those from long-term holding, I have to say that the latter has given me a better return (although there are exceptions).

I generally prefer to hold my coins in long term since most altcoins will go up in a long time . It takes too much time and attention to trade.

I prefer to trade in the short term, because for me to trade in alt, very easy to get profit every day, because in view of bitcoin price every day higher, so we will get more profit.

It depends actually, if market conditions are ideally good and favorably acceptable
I try to get into trading. Especially and mostly altcoins for that matter, I must admit
with little avail and experience it's very risky but profitable. I find it interesting since
a lot are good a it, but most of the time I prefer long term hold. It's safekeeping in
a way and comforting, it's less stressful to day trading in my opinion. With the
conditions markets are now, holding is the only safest thing to do to ride out all
these price drops.

I prefer for long term hold, its better and can earn much profit than holding for a long time instead of doing day trade. I understand that a lot of people are also earning high profit even in day trade but its not like long term hold which is the best.

Depending on the time I decide to trade day or hold a long time. As today, all altcoin prices fell sharply. I bought them and decided to hold on for a long time. Although I know the price of BTC is still going down. I believe that in the future, BTC price will increase again. Trade day for blue market, all altcoin are blue. So we can make a profit from the price difference.

It really depends on your style of trade, because it is two different kind of trading. You should try both and experience them. You will find out which one is suit more to you.

Can only say that the daily transaction is too tired, the market's change is not calculated in one day, or long-term holdings, Buffett daily trading, he will succeed?

In the main currencies I invest long-term and try to trade altcoins for 1-2 months, but it's better to be day-trader because of high volatility of the market  Wink

I prefer long term holding, day trading is too risky and I heard others lose some big money due to this technique

It is preferable if you have the perfect skills for day trading. I guess there will be more profit made in day trading rather than on simply holding. I am trying to make the best of my little skills and day trade sometimes. But when the market is red like this it seems that day trading is very hard to be appreciated. I have not been day trading for a few weeks already. The market is not that good to even look at. I am now holding my coins and wait for the market to bounce back and begin to make good and long green candles.

If I want to make a profit immediately, I will trade every day. Doing this seems certain but profit is only stable, not a breakthrough. But there are many investments I want to have a bigger profit margin than I would wait for a long time. Although I know it is risky, but sometimes it gives me high profits but sometimes it makes me lose. I accept that because it is the law of the market.

I am a long term investor and I choose to do things this way because for me it is more safe and secured to hold instead of trading
