So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?

Thanks
I prefer it for long term investment. But I also learned scalping techniques in small quantities. Unfortunately not very successful for me.

I want to stay long term because I understand that keeping in the long run will be worth more than risking my entire money. The most dangerous trading day is trading margin. As it can take away your entire property in a short time.
I try to study the entire crypto and pick out the best crypto to keep in the long run. I only sell them when I really need money.

Personally I prefer to hold my coins long term but every once in a while I do day trading. Trading is not as easy as some people think and to actually make money from the market by day trading you have to spend a lot of time on it as it is more like a full time job and I already have a day job so I don't have the time to put into the market which is why I don't day trade.

I'm not particularly experienced in trading, so I started with buying coins for a long-term perspective, I will not get a profit with such coin rates and in half a year.

My answer is still same. I really find it risky so i ‘m not a ‘day trade’ person. I can’t even imagine how you guys manage doing that thing everyday, lol, i mean it’s just too stresful. Hodling is better and safe.

It is all up to your strategy. If you want to gain a quick buck do the day trading. If you want to earn big do the long-term trading. But remember it can go the opposite way.

I usually prefer long-term investments because it is difficult to predict the shortest amount of time because I am also increasing the time-giving gain in the project.

I prefer long term hodling. But that's for me, I find day trading too stressful and time consuming, especially as a student.

in cryptocurrency I see long term investments tend to be more profitable so far, because the value of some coins tends to increase every year, but it would be nice if we choose both, day trade and long term investment, especially if we have skills in trading, smart to read graphics and trends to daily trading.

Everyday trading is to tedious task. I don't practice it. Since I have a job and cryptocurrencies just like hobby so I can not allow for myself to spend a lot of time on trading. I am just a crypto holder who wait for profits.
Trading is not a tedious job, if you can get many profits within short time, do you still keep this thinking?
I am sure no one ignore the opportunity to earn profit up to 10% per day through day trading.
Just this ratio is enough to help you become the rich faster than work in your job normal Roll Eyes

If we have skill on technical analysis, we can make profits daily. As we know, fluctuation on market very high and we can make profits from that fluctuation. Many my friends have income from daily trade but sometimes they make profits and sometimes they just wait more day to make profits.
But if we are investing for long term, we can ignore that high fluctuation

It is good to be a long term holder in crypto. Day trader could mean you more expenses on transaction fee with an exchange and that will be a loss of profit in the process and you could get a loss some of your money if the crypto market is always rising and most of the investors are holding. Day trading is just a gamble when you trade now and the price will still goes high that could be a problem to buy again that crypto will more likely to have a loss of some of your money. Therefore holding for a long period of time or when the time is good to sell is a good actions to make in the cryptomarket exchange. Sometimes we could get wrong on our speculation and that is so hard to deal.

long term holds are much more secure and will be better for a newbie. While you will be learning more and more details about short-term trading, your money will be working hard.

I will decide whether to sell or continue to hold based on the market price of the currency I invest in. When the currency I invest in reaches the price I want, then I will choose to sell it. If not, then I will continue to hold it. I will not consider how much it will drop.

Holding for a long time would give you huge profit however it's also a big risk because we cannot be sure about the up and down of coins' price in future. Daily trading could help you to earn a bit everyday but it will take your time looking at the chart of supply and demand. If you like to be challenged, long time holding will be a better choice.

I prefee both of them, as they all profitable. Trading is fast money, but long term can make you rich after few years, if everything will be fine with the market

I prefer to hold my coins for long term benefits and for that we must be patient. It's a good project to take
a long time to mature and can benefit from it all and eventually we ourselves feel it ...

This is not a selling period for me personally because the market is still very much in recovery mode, so why selling? I will prefer to lookout for undervalue alts for more investment.
Hold and buy more!

I prefer to keep coins because it gives me a big profit (depending on the coin).
In day trading, investors should monitor the market on time, buy/sell coins on time, profits may be less.
