as far as I understand, past developers completely refused and left the project, the new team decided to revive the coin again.  They created their new communications (website, telegram channel and tweeter, etc.), but they switched but the new network and the hashing algorithm (cuckarood29v) as far as I know will also soon create a new page on bitcointalk.

sure but old chain user did not get notified in time for these changes and the swap process.
The telegram admin (Antony) tried to help me swap but he stated that no coins could be found with my seed.....which is super strange since that wallet was primarily closed after the initial import seed from the monero network.
Anyway i'll try recompile the old monerov wallet to find out where my coins are or not.

if i manage to get my coins i might support this with a few miners else one more project less
