Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?

ICOs will never die unless the signature campaign is banned from this forum. Signature campaign are the main passage of ICOs so that they will be known by the majoriy. Also, since are technology is always upgrading, one can never tell when is the dead end for ICOs.

ICO's don't die, it may closed account but don't die. anyway, maybe what you mean a closed account on the said coins. this can happened if no more activities coming in or posting on this  treed, like campaign promotion, no more crypto currency activities on investment, it may closed eventually. But, there a lot of investment going on posted on the crypto trading market, yes the price value may goes up and down still, it is just market movement, remember that the market is VOLATILE, anything can happened at any time of the trading market.

It's impossible to happen since cryptocurrency has been established and it will not be removed from the community. As long as there are investors and devs, people will prefer ICO to fund their platform.

ICOs will die if they accept only ETH or something an ETH Price will go down before they cashed out.
Look at the ICOs from December. Most of them raised 30-40 Mio with an ETH Price of 1200 and now its only the half worth.

On the other side, its good for Marked Cap.

Nobody really know!  The emergence of ICO is very recent and the platform which makes ICO more popular is also in it's early days as well.  No one can of certainty predict what is going to happen in there future.  For now,  we should do our best to make ICO valuable and workable!

Talking about ICO is going to die or not.. i think it will be more inclined on will persist and will be more crowded again. Anyhow this is like an effort that's closely related to the future, everyone will be more focused on advanced technology, I can still ensure that ICO will be more accepted, due anyhow this is about the strength of cryptocurrency.

This is a very common topic for discussion lately, I think that many people already feel the fact that something is going wrong with crypto currencies, because the prices on the market do not exactly obey some rules, they are completely chaotic and I think that they are manipulated .

Icos are not going to die anytime soon, so the best thing that you can do is just to try to forget about this. Icos are not going to  disappear because companies are makingn a lot of money out of them.

With the number of troubled ICOs increasing (i.e Envion's current legal troubles with founders and investors), the number of ICO's will reduce. It was a wise and correct decision to seek crowdfunding via an ICO but more teams are reverting back to Angels and VC.

Many investors have tak emuch profit from ICO and we have chance to be part to take profit with the ico but why you want to see ico die ? many ico was lauch every day will be many chance to take profit every time and more profit by many ico will be launch.

I doubt they'll ever die completely but the regulations will probably tighten up, many of them are basically a security whether they say so or not.

We cant say exactly when they will die, but if regulations are put in place to control their frequent crop up then they can be controlled, ICOs with little value however will not last long in the market

In general i dont think it will be anytime soon that icos will die, there is plenty of money supporting good project, and if we find a way to eliminate scamming icos, its just going to be better and better in the ico world, and all the newbies have a good chance of actually earning decent money investing in a early phase of an ico

I do not think there is any reason to know when it will die. Because ICO is doing well now, and it contributes a lot on the Internet. It has gained popularity since it began to win countless users. So now I don't think it's going to die.

Now only few percentage of the coin launched their coins around the globe and this will tend to increase to higher because governments wants to start legalizing the ICO. ICO will not die and will start launching more ICO.
