I think so, in 2018 bitcoin experiences an unstable ups and downs. keep in mind it's part of a dynamics. and this is perfectly natural. not to worry about the current state, the storm will pass. keep thinking positive. I hope that soon there will be a wind of change. Keep the spirit. Not so, I think that investors are getting interested in altcoin with good projects and prospects for implementing blockchain technology in life so bitcoin will not dominate the cryptocurrency market in the future. However, bitcoin will always be a top choice for investors. |

I think it will be remembered as dominant in its time, but eventually Bitcoin will have the need to step down and pass its crown. Maybe in the future people would patronize a different coin and Bitcoin will be remembered as the coin who pioneered this all. But its just a possibility to happen. We cannot drain all of these down to one outcome. Many things can occur in the future. Bitcoin can remain dominant or maybe it will be replaced by another coin.

personally I think that btc will remain the most dominant coin because if any other coin has the potential to do it and does it we will have a huge crash or a huge panic in market and decentralization mentality may be threatened.

Yes it will, all other coins are dependent on it. Most financial institution only recognizes Bitcoin to exchange to fiat.
