I have xnode on linux and my debug.log was increased to 16Gb till server has down. I don't find command to switch off this log. How?
WoW  Shocked  debug.log is just a log file you can delete it!

Of course, only if you have an access to server every day.

three possibilities.
1. use   -printtoconsole=1 on startup
or
printoconsole=1 in hexxcoin.conf

this will funnel all data onto the console rather than debug.log

2. you could do a cronjob regularly to wipe it

0 * * * * echo '' > /wherever/.hexxcoin/debug.log

3. funnel the data to oblivion,
cd /wherever/.hexxcoin
rm -f debug.log && ln -s /dev/null debug.log

 -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

 -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

anyone have any recommendations to reduce cpu usage?

this is particularly for a daemon hosting a remote xnode.
it generally sits around 100% .

edit.
lolz now it's using less than 3% and prev was over 100%,
only thing i did was
setup cronjob to hourly wipe debug.log
and
start it up with -disablewallet
then shut it down,
and restart normally again.

it might be that usage builds up over time? and will peak again in a few hours??

Any further exact details about our own exchange - Hexxchange?
It`s discussed in the telegram and more clarification would be fine from the team..

Hexxciting update: The Hexx team is hard at work on fixing the ZeroCoin protocol exploit, web wallet, and many other developments! The team is and always has been cooperatively working towards the success of hxx and the BitcoinZeroX fork

What exactly was the exploit about? Have any funds been lost by anyone? Will the update be a hard fork?

The exploit has been disabled for a long time now.  No one has lost HXX at this time.  Latest wallet upgrade has included TOR for extra security which is the first step towards patching the exploit.  No other Zero Coin has been able to patch this, we will be the first.  Be ready!

That sounds like a good amount of work you have done. Is it true though that XZC for example didn't fix their code yet?

just rebuilt the daemon to v4033 (with bdb 5.3.28)
downloaded chainfiles.zip
but the daemon keeps giving

: Error opening block database.
Please restart with -reindex or -reindex-chainstate to recover.

no useful information in the debug

-

edit.

not sure what happened, but eventually it worked after deleting everything for th third time.
maybe i'd left an invisible file in the datadirectory

To all Xnode operators, kindly stay tuned for mandatory wallet upgrade. Stay up to date in discord to for the latest upgrade procedure to be rolled out soon.

The upgrade involves many patches and is mandatory for all the network, but we want to give a heads up to Xnode operators since they play a critical role in securing the network.

Again and again yobit makes restless, very unfortunate if it should be in yobit, why not to exchange other course? the quality of yobit from the first is not clear but there are still coin that goes there.

Yobit is advertized in the OP as listed exchange ffs, just have them informed when upgrades are needed. I dont know how devs make contact with them but they (Yobit) do not read users support tickets.

Using cpuminer 3.8.1.1 on win 8 with i7.  When i run bat file I get "cpuminer is not recoginized as an internal or external command"  any ideas what I am doing wrong?

bat is: cpuminer -a lyra2z330 -o stratum+tcp://hxx-pool1.chainsilo.com:3032 -u xxx -p xxx

bat file is in the miner folder.

I tried downloading again and extracting with 7z.

If your cpuminer version is like 3.8.7 then there are several .exe applications in your folder. 3.8.7 has 4 and have to point bat. file to 1 of them.
    Example -- cpuminer-avx2 -a lyra2z330 -o stratum+tcp://hxx-pool1.chainsilo.com:3032 -u xxx -p xxx
              Is my setup
I had same problem, Hope this helps

Hi everyone.

Could anyone/the dev team tell us, When the bitcoinX fork occurs, will those of us holding HEXX coins on Cryptopia, be automatically awarded the 1:1 BitcoinX? Or do we have to put the HEXX into a dedicated HEXX wallet??

Many thanks in advance. Keep up the good work.

HODL HEXX!!!
