At so high big level, any decision is a political one: if Facebook will create its own currency, in short time it will replace dollars! (don't forget, facebook is used by TWO BILLIONS of people, and this make fb by far the biggest entity on the planet!)

I think from this news the prices for crypto-currencies will increase a little. It's time already. Tired of looking at the red graphs going down

they most probably banned cryptocurrency related advertisement on their platform because they wanted to eliminate the "competition" of shitcoins with their centralized shitcoin which they will probably create in the near future and push on to all their users on their crappy platform. the good side of it is that they will introduce the technology to a lot of people and then they will see the better options such as bitcoin through their crappy option. so in the end bitcoin is the winner of it

It would be even more hilarious if Twitter announces its own TweetCoin faster than Facebook.

It's just a normal thing . For now Facebook is still a good place to promote ICO project and Mark is still supporting for it and at the moment to own a cryptocurrency is not difficult so it's very easy for Mark Zuckerberg to have his own cryptocurrency and make it become a big one cause he's having one out the best place to promote cryptocurrency already.

Lets wait and see what happend.
Not easy times came for bounty hunters first introduced merits and now the ban on facebook, then if the trend continues and other social networks will ban the posts about oxides then it will not be spiced, lets wait. Yes, Facebook already began to ban some posts/reposts about Crypto/New ICOs. My opinion is that Facebook want to create own cryptocurrency and because dont want to promote any other projects. it could happen why facebook start banning some posts / reposts about Crypto / New ICO. because they want to create their own cryptocurrency. it is not impossible that this also happens to twitter, telegram, and others. who are interested also want to create their own cryptocurrency.

🌐 Mark Zuckerberg - The CEO of the largest social network, Facebook, has recently posted on her personal account that he was officially considering to integrate cryptocurrency to his platform. Facebook can generate its own cryptocurrency easily and integrate it with the current social network platform, just similarly to Steemit. However, the company can either cooperate with some available coins depending on the business goals. With this option, they can skip costly and time-consuming stages. ✔️ No matter what approach it is, Facebook does not only aim at the decentralized platform and Blockchain technology but the also views them as the milestones of development research in 2018. This is the strong evident for a bright future of digital currency. #VCX #VCXLending hmm if he does that i think it's good news for the crypto world and also i think this will give competition to the big coins

That is the reason they decided to block any ICO advertising. Why no? They have funds and can to do it. It's so trendy

Even if Mark Z. decided to decentralize the facebook how it would prove to its users that their personal data were not available to other things sometimes he violated it. I read an article how he did it. https://medium.com/@REMECoin_io/facebooks-data-breach-calls-for-increased-control-and-security-for-the-user-e4999a629554According to The Verge, the data collected on the over 50 million users is said to have been used in the 2016 presidential election. Besides such use of our data being a huge violation of the Terms of Service that we expect Facebook to implement, it should be shocking to the individual users that according to The Observer (confirmed by a Facebook statement), the company already knew that this was happening towards the end of 2015. However, they didn’t take the necessary steps to secure the private information of their users.
