Invest in ICO or buy BTC?

I would prefer to buy bitcoin rather than invest in ICO’s at this moment due to the market state most ICO dump so hard unless you prefer long term, better wait for Bitcoin to hit the bottom first before you buy-in and wait for few months if crypto winter is over.

Obviously many people prefer to buy bitcoin instead of investing in ico now , at this time ico is very risky because many projects fail and scam, it's better to buy bitcoin now and long-term hold

It depends on many factors, ICOs could be really profitable in short-term period. Look how many percents did BitTorrent token - 12000% since ICO!

not all ICOs are scam, there are still successful ICOs and buying bitcoin I think the choice must be considered.
I suggest doing both, buying bitcoin and ICO invest.

BTC should always be bought at this levels if you have limited money than do invest in btc. Also if you have a decent amount and ready to take some risk than it can be invested in both btc and ICO if you find it worth after doing the analysis and have a good future can be bought.

It's the easy way to make money and less risky, when you buy BTC, you just hold and wait until it rise but when you invest
now, you need to witness how people will dump the coins when it's live in exchanges, that's the trend now so it's not wise to invest at this time.
By noticing that there are many failed ICO now, you'll understand that the interest of the investors has decrease.

I see the same thing, investors don't focus on developing blockchain and other real projects.

In the past, scam projects were inconspicuous because there were many good projects. But the empty stadium has made scam projects more visible. Anyway, give superiority to more reliable projects until better situation.

as a newcomer, it's a good solution to invest in bitcoin even though the risks to be gained are quite large but the growth is undoubted and there are many people investing in bitcoin, so invest and wait until the time you set or the price you want to re-sell it.

Both are good actually but to invest in ICO project, you must choose a good one and it's hard to find a good one nowdays.

How about altcoins? There are some good altcoins too to invest like ethereum, you can get a good amount of profit too in altcoins.

It's not, you have to wait for more than a month for at least to pass the ROI because most of ICO once listed on exchanges are having dump experience. It's riskier to invest on ICO than buy BTC, even though the profit is quite small but at least it's more guaranteed than ICO.

Newbie needs to learn and observe a lot if you want to make more money in the future. currently the trend is to invest in IEO projects on large exchanges and then get eazy moneyy.
I am not kidding but I will not tell my strategy to anyone. I recommend that you join speculation discussion groups. They will give you quite some great ideas.
