ICO platform totally collapsed in the bearing market. I don't think ICO investment will be good because some risk here such as scam or delay to reach softcap even long time need to live on the market exchange. BTC investment always worth and definitely i advice to you invest with it.

In the recent days the investment in the ICO directly gone a bit of riskier because of evolving of lot of project with their ICOs. Even, you can't find which one is legit. Most of the ICOs come with a legit website with the made of fully professionally. So, you only know after the ICO when it is listed in the exchange. And, you find the price is drastically fall to the ground zero level even more bellow the ICO price. So, if you want to invest then you get a better price than the ICO price. This time is running a bear market so every ICO will beat later. So, invest in BTC now or some so the selective coin from the exchanges.

i think bitcoin is good choice why? because bitcoin even though it has shortcomings in transaction speed and expensive costs, but with its privileges and  I think bitcoin will exceed, its present value

IEO could be a good alternative for ICO, where one can be assured of making an exchange early and driving volume, besides most of the IEO project go for money below $10M which could be achieved fast also.

Investing in btc is not a bad investment idea. But its best for long term purpose.  If you need mid term profit its better you invest in a good and credible ico most atimes within 2 months they list on an exchange  and you can sell and make good profit

Though you are newbie in crypto so don't try to invest in ICO in this current time maximum ICO's won't be succeed so you can invest in BTC because it will give you profit today or tomorrow.
