I would encourage XJO to consider merge mining as a viable option.  It has been mined in a fair manner for some time and a switch is a smart idea to make this blockchain secure for the longterm.

He pops up once and awhile,
mainly because I want too lol.  I like the name and metrics, bitcoin should of had a min payout....  The name joule I like, it means work, it's very fitting for a POW coin.
Alas I might be the only one that likes the coin lol :S.

Hello,
Long story short, a friend gave me one of those small mining devices.
I downloaded few wallets (Zetan Unbrk, Myrad...Joule ect)
But my zeta and Joule are not syncing with the network at all. Please help....

I don't think its my router due to few other coin wallets work just fine.
Can someone give me a more detail example of joule.conf file, any nodes i need to add or any more prosperous direction

Thanks a lot

Let me look into what version I am running, it is synced and I am mining to it.  I have done several transactions as well.

I'll zip up the program and put it on here.

Hi Joule community,

reading through the thread it seems the coin isn't as active as it used to be sadly, I personally held some XJO in my earlier crypto days

since then ive launched my own coin cerium, which has launched a project called cerium combine https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1271127.0 and aims to bring together coins and their resources to create a strong coin with a brighter future for all

if anyone wants to get involved or has any questions feel free to pm or ask on XJO or cerium thread and ill be happy to answer

Thanks, i am using 0.9.2.4 x64, the one I downloaded from Joule over Mega or Dropbox I think
Something I noticed in my debug file that might show some glitching....

PROBLEM FIXED

THIS WAS MY PREVIOUS POST

Went to
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xjo/#!network

Clicked on NODE LIST
/Satoshi:0.9.2.4/   node list   70002   13   46.4 %   46.4 %

And updated my nodes from the Page.
Manualy (command line) and added to joulecoin.conf file as well
Restarted the client

Started it up and got an immediate connection.
Thank You All for the support....
