Between 100 - 400 sat sell orders mostly dropped/sold below 100's, now road seems empty. It can be last cheap XJO's.

There's a constant order around 100/101/102 sats looking for people to dump into but the sale price has been up near 108-119.

That's me, CME; and I'm anti-p-n-d: working up a stash to use specifically to prevent wild price-swings. EDIT: As best I can.

But more immediately, most of my outfit are shifting out of Bitcoin. I have shifted shop holus bolus to DOGE-XJO. We can shine in coming weeks and months if we manage XJO as a stable high-volume instrument.

Hi everyone,

IMZ invited me from Reddit (r/Zimbabwe) to use XJO.  I have the MacOSX wallet set up.  He said to post the address:
JfV3Y6FRFt3P4hodJxsdMiA47LzFbdFs32

I'm fairly new to crypto, but have been wanting to learn.  Not sure if my setup is high powered enough for mining (just a Mac and a Linux laptop), but that would be fun to start trying as well.  Any places you all recommend to learn more about getting started?

Morning, Harlanjs! Deep breath.

There are 10,000 XJO in your wallet. That's $U.S.80. They are a gift to the project.

Leave mining for a while.

This thread shall be home base. I understand that our goal is to develop a network of Zimbabwean crypto users.

Next step, get an account at: cryptopia.co.nz (Bookmark the site: it's a security thing) THEN . . . figure out your XJO deposit address, and post it here. I'll loan you some XJO with which to experiment with trading. You will be trading within hours:

so, helping others to set up and secure the wallets of The Zimbabwe Project; figuring out how to get XJO to those folks; getting them Cryptopia accounts; showing them how to trade; getting them accounts here, so we can gather and learn.

IndiaMikeZulu, Western Australia

It took quite a while for my wallet in the Joulecoin-Qt app to sync with the network, but it finally did.

I've gotten set up on cryptopia and my deposit address is: JbRqBk3uu6LbXJ7ti88Zyw9t6PMXbh5RXs

If I'm to be serious about this, I best know what I'm doing.  What resources do you suggest I read to get a better grasp on the basics of crypto trading?

Morning, CME! Here's my chance to make the distinction I've wanted to make:

pump-and-dumps have no place in quality crypto development.

Now, price-strengthening? driven by solid development? well, that's the Holy Grail. That's why we're here.

Pardon my frankness. I feel responsible here only to JohnJoule and Spazzdla. Just weeks ago, XJO had just twenty or thirty bucks a day volume. Wild price-spikes from such a 'base' say only that those orchestrating those spikes care for nothing except screwing XJO over to make some Bitcoin.

IMHO: our present position is: we aren't a tech coin. So community -- projects underpinned by steady price and trading-volume -- are where we surely need to put our energy.

Great to see so much interest in Joulecoin and so many different viewpoints on how to make it better.

The coin has a very solid hashrate and this is probably due in part to the minimum reward offered for mining blocks. So mining is very important to continued growth.

Secondly, the coin needs to build its profile by increasing the number of Twitter followers and core developers. So if anybody wants to help out in those regards, you can be in touch with JohnJoule on here or on Twitter https://twitter.com/JouleCoin or just contribute directly to the Github https://github.com/joulecoin/joulecoin or if you're not technically minded, just go on to to Github now and give it a star - that helps to raise the profile.

Finally, there are all kinds of ways to increase the user base for Joulecoin - another member mentioned P2P trading, there is also the opportunity for Lightning Network sidechains, privacy elements and other upgrades.

Joulecoin is a solid legacy coin almost like a blank slate and the possibilities are endless...

You can now mine Joulecoin even if you don't have the equipment.

TheCoin.pw Joulecoin (XJO) SHA256 Mining Pool is partnering with Mining Rig Rentals to help users mine Joulecoin. TheCoin.pw is also a great pool if you do have mining equipment.

Mining Joulecoin is one of the most important community contributions because it adds increased stability and flow to the coin https://www.miningrigrentals.com/images/hashrate.png

Almost certain I can figure this out. Excellent excellent community-strengthener!!

And meanwhile, with The Zimbabwe Project: our guy there has a pinch of XJO. Watch this space. And:

So we want the price of Joulecoin to go up.

Right?  Huh

I think even people in Zimbabwe maybe especially in Zimbabwe would want to see their value increasing. If you doubt that, then read this article https://medium.com/@PanteraCapital/vcs-missing-97-of-the-trade-blockchain-letter-november-2017-e02abd27c47f

'This has got to be the first time in recorded history where people are complaining that a currency sucks because it gaps UP. Argentines and Zimbabweans should be so lucky.'

Tee hee: I been arguing this perspective when the Weimar-regime argument is brought up: surely 'volatility' that largely goes upward is a new and better 'volatility'?

And our single-sentence posters? (this page and last). Looks like some sort of auto-translated gimmick to maybe raise your standing on Bitcointalk.

And XJO price up? If slowly and steadily, in response to development? Yes. Sure would make Zimbabweans happy!

Awesome Spring afternoon here in country W.A. Got red-tailed black cockatoos just behind the farmhouse -- these guys:
