Hi, I have a question about the Lunar Goats.
Why are they available below spot gold price?  Is it a mistake (that won't be honored) or is it an offer?

It is quite a lot below spot too!  I haven't heard bad things about bitgild, so am very interested.

Yeah those ones, I'm pretty sure they weren't out of stock earlier! In fact I am sure of it as I only found them by sorting the gold ounces by price, and now when you do that they show up as out of stock.
Oh well, let's hope that Bitcoin keeps rising and I get to buy some gold sooner or later!  1.09 Bitcoin seems like a lot compared to the 1.02 that the Goats were earlier today (and the BTC price is higher now that it was then!)

I'm sure they are there to lure in customers ;-)

But we have come a long way, just look at this chart

Kind of makes me regret having bought PM's 3 years ago with BTC ;-)

Why does an gold ounce now cost more than €100 more if you pay with Bitcoin that if you pay with Euro?
I mean it isn't even close. The price of a gold ounce Kangaroo is 1218€, Bitcoin is at €1280. The price of the Kangaroo in Bitcoin is 1.05!

That is crazy, if you don't want to accept Bitcoin, don't!  It's a shame though.

This is a rounding error in their interface.

The final bitpay price which uses this price https://bitpay.com/api/rates/EUR - 1% is correct when you checkout the basket

The Lunar Goats have been sold out for a long time. It says max. 5 per customer but you can't actually order one.
I don't know why they don't remove it.

Seems like they are having some heavy problem with their site, better to put a thing in the cart and see euro prices if you want to buy something, other prices are displayed outdated or incorrect . But orders are still working

How long are processing times at the moment? I made an order on the 6th and since I haven't had a reply to my email question I made before the order.  I'm a little anxious to see it despatched. A more regular social media presence would be reassuring.

Update to my previous commmet.

Order arrived today to the UK on 13/7/17, I ordered on 6/7/17.

Everything perfect as ordered. 22 silver coins of 7 different varieties. All packaged exceptionally in either individual zip lock bags, individual plastic cases, or 6 in a tube designed for 10 which they had taken the care and effort to stuff with bubble wrap so they didn't bang around too much.

Overall I'm absolutely delighted with my order but i did feel a little nervous about the order arriving just because on the 5th I sent them a question to support and still I haven't received a reply yet. In their defence if I'd read the FAQ it had been answered. Also my order inside the website still shows as processing and I didn't get an email with tracking information as stated. However it was a nice surprise today for me to wake up to and smeagle over.

Will definately use again. In fact I'm going to order again immediately since the first was just a test purchase.

Why is there so little activity here? I came back to report another successful purchase of more than a dozen different coins, but I feel like I have to remark on the fact I made the last 2 replies here. Such a great business. I'm buying VAT free silver to the UK for great prices, paid in bitcoin, I don't understand how this isn't more popular.

Second order came 6 days after ordering. I mailed support to let them know I didn't get the tracking number on my last order and got a reply within 24 hours. They told me they had now fixed the issue. As they promised I got the despatch notification and the tracking number. Same as last time everything was perfect. I'm recommending this site to all my crypto friends.

Would be great to see someone at the company have a greater social media prescience though, that's literally the only criticism I can come up with. Even if it was just some boring comment here or something just to let us know everything is cool.

I bought a 100 gram bar and here is the photo of the bar received

Unfortunately it would seem that the serial would show that it is a fake

Authentic 1 ounce Perth Mint gold bars in black/charcoal assay card. The zero in serial # has 3 dots, top and bottom.

Authentic 3 dots

FAKE has 2 dots

Where do you get the info that the serial is fake? You are comparing it to previous purchases? Did you contact Perth Mint to have it verified? Did you get the gold bar tested?

I noticed in the past, the packaging changes. How about the ones below, is there a fake one you think?

Note both the colour and the serial number are totally different
