Porto will have a very difficult playoff stage with AS Roma, as by destiny the draw brought them together in play off matches. Porto by their decreasing quality had to play in UEFA Europa League while they usually play in Champions League.

Their playoff matches with AS Roma are considered as biggest matches in playoff stages, because of their tradition as well as performances in recent seasons in either Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. Porto know those coming playoff matches will be very tough, and they need to have good warm up and preparation for it, starting with Portuguese national league matches with Rio Ave.
