No matter what kind of awesome progress some altcoins make....it doesn't change the trend upwards if Bitcoin doesn't allow it.

Pump and dump groups I also blame. Because of them I'm very positive that Bitcoin won't make it past 30 000 this year. 50 000 to 80 000 would be realistic without pump and dump groups dominating and controlling the prices.

Anyways, these things have to change somehow. The first altcoin developers who claim their absolute freedom from Bitcoin will be the real winners of this crypto game.

The biggest problem of Altcoin many pump & dump group can handle this. As a result ordinary traders/investors become looser.

It's just that no project should occupy most of the market by capitalization. Then the fall in the price of a large project will not affect other projects.

Ordinary trader will became loser if they will not let themselves know on what coin they are dealing with before tradings, since if they research before engaging with it then they can ride the hype brought by the whales.

But I don't really believe on dump and pump group thing called their since some of those proclaimed groups are just made for self profit gathering and some people who give some pointers with certain coins are trying to pump their coins to recover nor regain their capital back.

The biggest problem of altcoins is their big count. I think in future most altcoins won't be relevant and will depreciate.

The biggest altcoins problem is dependency from bitcoin, it will be good for altcoins that bitcoin market capitalization have lower share in all market capitalization, nowdays is high-more than 40%.
Altcoin projects must developed themselfs in a way to have more and more practical use, then altcoin would find bigger support and develop in a stronger pace!

I agree with you. that's a big problem. my briefcase is mostly made up of altcoins, and he's been through a lot. or if the exchanges introduce another pair of dollar / altcoins, the situation may change. but then it is possible that bitcoin will collapse
