I have heard people saying that bitcoin causes death and now that it affects students. I don't think so. Students should learn how to manage their own time

tim managment is the best answer. me, as a student, i am more focus on my studies rather than staying all day long in the forum. maybe , in a day, i have to read and do some research for about three hours only and the rest is my chores and school works. i guess that you could teach your students to be more focus on studying because not everything evolves in money, as a student, learning is still the best way to succeed.

It's true many students feel they can earn a income because of the price volatility and studies isn't much important The solution is allowing students some time during their school time for allowing them to earn money or give them lectures and tell them importance of earning money and at the same time that studies is also important

As far as I can observe being a teacher, I am definitely happy that my students are involve in cryptocurrencies and they earn for themselves and help their families. But, their school perfomance is getting worse. Please give your thoughts how will you help students to earn and at the same time it won't affect their school works?
Students have different goals, maybe not everyone will really excel in the classroom but everyone has a hidden talent inside them and maybe they prefer to earn more money more than studying so let them be.

students will always find a way to keep them busy with anything else but the school stuff because school is just something they don't like. It's not bitcoin's fault

what level of school are you talking about? If you're talking about junior high school students and below, I don't think they even have to be taught how to make money. If you're talking about high school students, it all depends on how the student responds to the cryptocurrency technology. It's true, money can change everything. Therefore, the role of parents and teachers is very important to ensure that their current task is to learn and not make money, the time will come when they should be able to make their own money.

I guess this can be quite subjective since we cannot just point out that being involved in cryptocurrency is the MAIN reason why students are not doing very well in school. I just feel like the generalization is not fine. I am a student and I know what to prioritize, so maybe for those students whom you referred to as the one having a hard time in school, they may value the cryptocurrency venture more and you can't blame them. Each person has their own reason, if they are failing then that is their fault. Maybe you can tell your students to manage their time well and focus more on what matters. However, since both aspects are important for the future, then I think you really have to let them think of their own strategy to give equal time to both aspects. It's all about priority and appropriate time management.

Bitcoin will really affect the students performance in school because you need to exert a lot of effort and time working on bitcoin to earn a decent amount of it. Sometimes, you will sleep late because of working on bitcoin. Since you are already a teacher, my advice for you is to teach them how to manage their time.

I have realized something and that is when a student is making some serious money then their attention turn away from their education and they are totally focused on making money and completely discard their studies.

Cryptocurrencies are just Cryptocurrencies. They have nothing to do with the manipulation of students. I myself is a student yet I never get into the point where I almost left my cryptocurrency for my study. Maybe it will still depend on the people, their time management and of course priorities in life. cryptocurrency will not disturb the students if the student can manage the time, just cryptocurrency such as bitcoin can help the students' earnings because students can get profit and pay their own school fees It will always be a matter of priority. Cryto and school are two different things. You can do one thing at a time or do both. Since, crypto blooms in this generation, youth of today are more involved especially students. They are more curious. They explore more. Spending their time in crypto. If it they do not properly use their time, then it will surely affect their studies. They might lose the allotted time supposedly for academics. But if they happened to learn the importance of prioritizing, managing their time properly, then no. They may succeed in both fields.

Don't blaim bitcoin for poor performance. I see lots of students using bitcoin and having good performances in the school.
I agree with you in general, but still we have some students who's educational process suffers because of their engagement in Bitcoin activity. Mainly those students are into "making money" with Bitcoin rather than in learning how it works. We have to help those students with our advises here, we can't just ignore those with "poor performance". There were a lot of helpful advises in this thread. I even think someone can make a digest out of it, but I think it's better if OP would do that.

I was a student, and I had no trouble while I worked in bitcoin while studying. because I split my time correctly, every day I only use 2 to 3 hours to work in bitcoin. I follow the campaign signature, I just need to make 3 to 4 posts every day.

Maybe it depends on the student. Because i have many friends that are doing bitcoin and yet they don't forget to go to school. Their performance is good and i think they manage well their time with crypto currency. It's just a matter of putting allocated time between this because student must finish their studies. Some of my friends even if they are earning big it does not stop them from going to school because as you said when students earn big they will just walk away from studies then continue earning here.
My son is a grade 12 student and also a bitcoiner, he has a self dicipline and they have time management. In the morning he go to school he want to finish his study and evening he doing his bitcoin job cause he want to earn to support his studies.

I guess teach them to discipline themselves. Sure earning through bitcoin is important but they need to balance themselves as they're still students. They shouldn't neglect the importance of education just because they found a way to earn money.

If their performance is getting worse, then the problem is with them. While getting involved in cryptocurrency, students should know that there are risks that we need to take. We should always be prepared and ready to accept any circumstances that might take place. Sir/maam, you should remind them that their education is more important and they should finish it whatever happens. It's for their own good

Some students forget their priorities once they experienced how to earn, thats why they tend to focus more on what is more beneficial for them and grab the chance while its still there. Others are using their income to sustain their studies so I think it depends on the student how they handle to earn extra income in cryptocurrencies while studying. I think the parents presence are needed to guide and discipline their child, so school wont be the less priority.

If a student who dives in the world of crypto obviously will disrupt the work of students in the school, so it would be nice that students have not been able to plunge in the world of crypto. Given the students can not manage the time and later work in school unfolded.
