"The objectives of KYC guidelines is to prevent banks from being used, intentionally or unintentionally, by criminal elements for money laundering activities. Related procedures also enable banks to better understand their customers and their financial dealings. This helps them manage their risks prudently"

I join the ICO, which requires KYC, because now it's days, this is the only thing that keeps ICO in more stringent rules. If this is a good ICO with the reasons why they need KYC, this is not a problem, especially if there is a decent team.

For me is it important with which KYC supplier they work. If they work with a trusted company who have good experience in the work field and with KYCs then I join the ICO.

I have joined a few. Really don't see any problem with this step if it's done in a secure way and you have a clear knowledge of how the information from you is being saved/kept.

I join ICO that requires KYC and i think it has a promising project that could give me a big return on my investment in the future thats why they require KYC. I  think the ICO project would give me profit. I usually choose to participate in the ICO project investment, even if it requires KYC information.I know most of the KYC information may be liable to leak but still its ok for ICO

I was observing some ICO battle from swarm most loved abundance administrator to join my Twitter yet when I saw the line "this token isn't ERC20 and you require a legitimate email to send the connection for your award." I check the connection yet it drives you to the ICO site and you have to fill your KYC, I quickly expel my book marks.Undeniable irritation to choose and sit tight for the ID affirmations.Additionally archives. Forget about it

I attended all ICOs which in my opinion would definitely give me profit, even though the ICO asked me to fill KYC or not.

Do any of you participate in ICOs that requires KYC (Know your Customer). We actually experienced this one on exchanges but how about in partipating in ICOs or just even in airdrop that requires KYC.

I think it depends as for me as they are many scams as well just getting your information. In some instances, we can be blind sometimes, mkay? I really do not join airdrops if it requires too needy to get your personal information.

I believe some people are not cautious as long as they can join airdrops. How about you? What are your thoughts about KYC in ICOS?

When it comes to a bounty campaign that requires KYC, if I can avoid it then I do avoid it. I know KYC is created for a good purpose like limiting multi account in one campaign but on the other hand, it can also be used to get the information of someone and then use it in something bad. If I think it is worth to participate in KYC, then I go for it.

KYC is ok for me if the ico can prove that they are compliant and  certified in the country that they are operating, if they cannot show anything I'll definitely not going to join that ICO with KYC there are reports that they are selling people identity in the black market or dep web.

If it is a good ICO and worth to gamble my personal identity then i will go for it if investor who invest thousands of Dollars submit ICO then why an ordinary bounty hunter like me would refuse to do so. as long as we are selective and would pick the best ICO then KYC is fine for me

I think there's nothing wrong with that. After all, companies with a reputation will require proof of identity.

Yes, I do, but only if the project is too promising, I just don't like giving away my personal information to anyone, who knows what they will be doing with it, plus, if nothing else is required I have no problem in making a little effort of giving my info, again, only if I trust the project.

I join ICOs that requires KYC only if it has a recommendation from my friends here in crypto, also if I saw and can convince me that it has a legit project. Just like others here, I didn't give my personal information plus a selfie holding my id's because we never know they can use our identity in making illegal things.

I strongly agree that there is a KYC, because this is a form of special attention to customers, besides adding to this trust as a promotion for new projects if the next program is held.
other than that the existence of this kyc will increase trust for investors.

I and my friends are joining the IOCs that require KYC. But we participate in every ICO project. I have never filled a KYC form with scam ICO projects. Because I'm afraid of misuse of my private information.

First of all, I look at the project itself. If it suits me, for no problem pass KYC. Although I'm against it.This violates the whole essence of crypto

Yeah i do join ICOs that requires KYC because a good and reputable company will always want to know more of her investors. Though i always do research of any ICO am venturing into so as not to fall victim of scam and misuse of investors private information.

KYC for exchange may not be a bad idea but i would be weary of ICOs requesting for KYCs, especially if there are no obvious legal impediments as regards the ecosystem being developed.
