Ive read an article about Bill Gates saying that cryptocurrencies kills people. He explained that crypto provokes people to hide thier financial transactions from the government, and revolutionizing terrorism, financial crime etc. Some people use crypto to buy drugs, bombs, guns that are use for drug dealing and terrorism that kills people 'in a fairly direct way'

I think Gates is somehow right about this. But i think it depends on the people who are using cryptocurrency, if they will use it in a good way or in a bad way. What do you think?

Whilst yes, cryptocurrencies are used to pay for and fund some dark and shady activities ... So is all currencies, where there's a will, there's a way ... and that includes criminal activity

Well, anything can kill people if human beings decided to use it for that purpose. Saying bitcoin kills people wont be that fair. People rather kill people.If someone hasnt decided that he is going to do his evil things through bitcoin,there will be no way someone will die because bitcoin exist. He has a point though,   and what he's saying are for entities who does dishonest things since they can move money without being traced, however that mainly depends who will be using crypto  since it allows access to all types of users and that's something we are unable to stop, But if bill gates is using his statement to crush crypto currency, well, its like putting a gun on his head.

its high time these people stop making excuses about crypto currencies , why don't they focus on these materials that they use to make bombs or the manufacturer's of these guns point is they are focusing on the currency used to purchase these items which is ludicrous focus on the manufacturers and persons who are into this madness and leave crypto alone. why dosent gates comment on the fact that they use his computers to communicate and coordinate their attacks why dosent he lobby for a ban on his computers? cause lets face it being able to communicate is more crucial than acquiring these items ...  lets lobby for a ban on Microsoft as they are directly enough aiding terrorism with their computers.point is this line of reasoning is bullshit government needs to put well thought out measures into dealing with these issues rather than going around and blaming crypto ...terrorism , money laundering  etc was going on before bitcoins so what really are they saying.

Bill gates is not such a stupid person to think that bitcoin is bad. Such well-known people, economists and businessmen will always act in parallel to the movement of the market. Most likely it was a fake purchased news.

nothing is free. Media becomes a weapon to support or otherwise.
I am slightly suspicious of any interest from this issue, because crimes can be done with anything including crypto. Actually I believe their crime will be quickly discovered because the blockchain system is very easy to find.
