Cryptocurrency kills people

This is just one of the opinions, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's caused by just creating a negative image for bitcoin. Criminals use all currencies, and bitcoin including, unfortunately.

This is one of the most idiotic statements that I have heard about Bitcoin. Could I reply to Bill Gates I would reveal him that in fact it is Microsoft which kills people, since so many terrorists prepare their plans on computers running Microsoft Windows. Moreover, a lot of politicians who declare wars prepare their plans on computers running Microsoft Windows. And let's not forget that the big cartels of narcotic drugs also are very likely to use computers running Microsoft Windows for dealing with their criminal projects which end up with the death of millions.

People kill people, do not blame guns or cryptocurrency. Anything can be used for good or bad. If a person chose to use crypto or bitcoin to buy drugs or guns then it is the persons fault, not bitcoin. We should start taking responsibilities for our actions, and do not blame technology for things we've done using technology.

Exactly, cryptocurrency cant kill people, its just a currency how can it do that. But I believe that it can be the reason why that people got killed because of money. We should be aware on it, maybe because that person became greedy on it and the enemy get pissed of so he was triggered to kill that person. Always remember that cryptocurrency doesnt not have a power to kill only the holder of it.

I think Bill Gates isn't exactly right. Criminals may well use bitcoin, but they also use other currencies. Therefore, bitcoin does not exacerbate crime.

This entirely depends on the people for what they are using it. The illegal acts you mentioned like hiding their financial transactions from the government, promoting terrorism, used to buy drugs, guns, etc are and were being done with currencies like dollars also. So does it mean that dollars kill people? This is the fault of people that they are not looking at the advantages of the cryptos but rather using its disadvantages for illegal acts. Instead of blaming cryptocurrencies, the government can make some regulations to stop these acts.

Things that actually kill people include:  poor health, guns, natural disasters and natural causes.

Ive read an article about Bill Gates saying that cryptocurrencies kills people. He explained that crypto provokes people to hide thier financial transactions from the government, and revolutionizing terrorism, financial crime etc. Some people use crypto to buy drugs, bombs, guns that are use for drug dealing and terrorism that kills people 'in a fairly direct way'

I think Gates is somehow right about this. But i think it depends on the people who are using cryptocurrency, if they will use it in a good way or in a bad way. What do you think?

Crypto like any other currency is supposed to be used responsibly we can't monitor the actions of every single adult. Btc and crypto in general is a boon for many traders as they're finding ways to boost the economy and make.profits at the same time so I partially disagree with gates although crypto can be a home to evils it's how the majority of people use crypto.

Another round of negative propaganda by Bill Gates. I would say that the number of people who have lost their lives as a result of Bitcoin is much lower than the number of those who lost their lives as a result of various actions by the Microsoft. Legal action by Microsoft against smaller competitors have ruined a lot of people and destroyed the career of lot many.

What do you mean by Killing people??
If you mean it is involved in illegal activities then I think Dollar or other fiat currency should also be banned. As till now it has involved in activities like drugs, terrorism, weapon dealing etc. So It is not a solution to ban Bitcoin to get rid of this problem. If BTC got ban then also these illegal activities will run and get funded by some other means. So baning BTC is not a solution to this prob.

He has a point because cryptocurrency with the current setting could easily be an avenue of hiding fund that could fuel all these bad vices. However, I believe you don't throw away the baby with the bad water. It is high time the government step in and have a measure of control without stopping the freedom we currently enjoy in the world of cryptocurrency.

Bad people always find their way to do bad or horrific things, even without cryptocurrency they will find their way. It is that it depends on the people who used bitcoin or cryptocurrency where to use it. for me it doesn"t kill people but rather it saved people from hunger .

Cryptocurrency kills people,After hearing this I think something that what is crypto? How it works? Why it created?Thinking about that and reached a point that technology make a way for peoples better life not for gathering.But if those people use that in a wrong way its not a fault of technology.Problem is not crypto,problem is peoples mentality.
