I can't login correct with my password on nxt

I Made my passphrase on Windows with special charachters.
Is it possible my passphrase changed on a mac?

Passphrase has special characters like: @ , % ( | 

Are you still able to log in with this passphrase on Windows?

It is possible that there are differences in utf-8 encodings between OSes.

Hi, no it's from a old windows computer. It's deleted.
It was Windows XP.. think older Google Chrome.
Also first version of NXT with localhost.

If you know the passphrase, try another windows computer.

I think he was able to help a user in a similar situation recently by encoding the passphrase differently.

Guys there's absolutely no technical reason for duplicating your coins and developers are profiting much from these ardr and ignis "snapshots"... they know in advance when they'll do them and buy/sell in advance nxt.

These concepts of "child chain" and "parent chain" they are selling do not exist for other cryptos, where they usually just fix the production code of a coin.

They do not exist because, like Nxt before it, Ardor is leading other cryptos, innovating on the edge. Other cryptos will pick up these innovations a couple of years later as it happened with Nxt.

As for developers profiting, do you expect them to work for free? Who will pay the R&D and marketing? Are you twelve? This is how the world runs.

With its pos capability you can just allow the coin grow inside your wallet while waiting for the price to rise up so you are not wasting anything its just a matter of time that you will be needed in order to gain profits as the title itself its a descendant so while btc is succeeding next will follows.

The date is not fixed yet, developers will announce about a month before it happens. Soon

1)However, I only saw this passphrase that had like 10 words that I store. And for me to login, i can simply put my wallet address (the same I withdraw the coins to) and insta logins. No password, no nothing?

You can use an online wallet too: https://wallet.mynxt.info/

On Bittrex/Poloniex possible, but there is no confirmation that these exchanges will give IGNIS to NXT investors after the snapshot. They might but they don't have to. I'd in the very least set up an online wallet, to be on the safe side, it doesn't take an awful lot of time.

1) logging with the NXT-address is read-only mode, to monitor your account.
Log in with the passphrase - and you can send transactions.

2) To receive IGNIS you must transfer NXT coins to your own wallet which you already did you say. This is it, wait a few weeks and when Ardor is launched you'll have to download the Ardor wallet and you will see your IGNIS in the Ardor wallet. Ardor launch release will be announced here and at https://nxtforum.org/nrs-releases/
