I worked with a girl who was a vegetarian, who was very nice...opposite of your description.
I should clarify, my girl had a more meek and kind personality (and she never pushed her veganism on anybody), but I have met OTHER vegetarians/vegans that are not so..reserved. Then one day she came back from lunch with this dazed, happy grin....I figgured she done fallen in love or got stoned or something. Everyone noticed it. Asked her what's happened. Her grin gets bigger and in pure happiness she said...
"I just had a Hamburger...."
Lol, I'm glad she liked it. While I was growing up, one of my dad's girlfriends was vegetarian (and had been since she was like 15). One time we went to this indian place that we went to somewhat regularly and she ordered the same thing she ordered everytime, only this time she noticed miniscule bits of chicken in it. Apparently, those chicken bits were part of the recipe and she had been eating them everytime we went there. I'll always remember the look on her face when the waiter told her

Lol. I honestly did not expect these results. Maybe the feminists, but definitely not the environmentalists. Feminists being disliked I can understand, because they upset the traditional male/female relationship, and a lot of people are still stuck in that mindset. Plus I think there's a large proportion of lesbians in feminist movements so there's homophobia as well.
But environmentalists is strange. The "tree-hugger" "hippie" phase was like the 70s-90s when envrionmentalism was still new and it was mostly young people trying to change society. You'd think environmental protection is sort of a given in today's society in that most of us agree on it and support it.

That's a pretty classic response Nathonas, I think you've been watching far too much television if you genuinely believe that but because I've already argued in this thread I will give a TLDR version of my arguments about feminism and environmentalism.
I just don't like modern feminists because they're really just sexists who hate men and want favourtism, they don't fight for equal rights at all, they use political pressure to attack men and encourage it, they're an insult to the real feminists back in the day who fought for the right to vote and wanted equal treatment.
I don't like Environmentalists not because they're tree hugging hippies, but because they're a bunch of hysterical alarmists who flip out over every little thing in life without providing scientific evidence to back it up. They are never satisfied and they don't even bother to fight against real threats to our environment like Nuclear Power which I guarantee will reduce large plots of land to radioactive creators if we allow the morons in charge to build them. They would probably get a lot more support if they argued about Nuclear Power than if they cried about a certain species of animal dying out or about a chemical process which frankly can be cleaned up a lot more easily than radioactivity can.
It's nothing to do with what they stand for, it's the fact they behave like a bunch of assholes.

Let me show you why the "new" feminists are full of gas. Here is a video. Posted the 19th of March 2014. The link may be dead in a few weeks, who knows. Here is a screen shot that lady ever existed if youtube decides to take it down. Take all your time, there will be no deadline. Visit all your favorite feminist websites. I am sure you are aware of them since you seem to know exactly what they stands for. Contact them directly. Ask them about this video and what they are planning to do about it. You can even tell them you are not expecting any type of boycott or petitions or pushing for anything on TV. You just want them to cover this and other cases of abuse in the Middle East. Not much really. Just a simple article with a link once a month. No more. Let us know what happen. LoL back at you. What happens when a blonde girl walks through Cairo University campus?http://youtu.be/mzLh9g6QV_k

The high-level, abstract concept of environmentalism IS largely accepted today. People like getting out in the woods, not breathing smog, drinking clean water, keeping parks looking neat, and generally the "nice" side of the green movement. What they don't like? Being forcibly prevented from building on their own land because some mouse or bird species was found there. Being taxed to "stop global warming" (as if they could, or should.) Facing pushy fanatics is one thing; when they get the law to enforce their opinions, beliefs and whims on others, people get rightfully pissed. They even get pissed seeing such nonsense happen to others. And this happens, to greater and lesser degrees, more often than you might think.

Bitcoin is the ultimate freedom test. It tells you who is giving lip service and who genuinely believes in it.

Well the cause would be helped here in America if "environmentally friendly" didn't associate itself with regulation and job killing. The environmentalists raise their hands in cheer at the demise of the Coal industry, but the people who are now unemployed didn't don't share the same enthusiasm. Don't even get me started on the Alaskan Pipeline.

WATCH: Female Campus Reform reporter bullied at 'inclusive' feminist conference for being ‘conservative’http://youtu.be/MEYDUnwmG4U“You’re just assuming that based on where I work,” Timpf told the organizer. “Yeah, we are,” the organizer stated. “You guys aren’t wanted here,” a participant told the reporter after the warning. “I thought this was supposed to be an inclusive thing, why am I being excluded because of where I work?” Timpf asked another organizer after another interruption. “Because the place that you work is not inclusive,” the organizer responded. “You don’t know that,” Timpf said. “You don’t know anything about me or my personal beliefs, I’m just being labeled and excluded based on a label.” Its “safe space policy” promised the event would be “structured around inclusivity … with a focus on representing various perspectives,” according to the event’s official website. “We will not tolerate, allow, or encourage behavior which makes folks feel uncomfortable, threatened, or demoralized,” the policy continued. http://www.campusreform.org/?ID=5506

I don’t know how representative of the public the study was, but I could believe it as being true. The article addresses the issue of stereotypes around activists as people, not looking at people’s impressions of the actions themselves – rallies, sit-ins, etc.

Well..... But if you are a true feminist-atheist wouldn't you believe the witches got what they deserved by keepin' down the feminist movement with their bizarre illogical beliefs?

First there was abortion-on-demand, then there was the supposed wage gap, then birth control without a co-pay, then the word “bossy” and now? Dry-cleaning bills. Expect the cost of dry cleaning to be the next feminist outrage, President Obama said so in his Equal Pay Day remarks Tuesday. “We’ll talk about dry cleaners next, right,” Obama said. “Because I know that – I don’t know why it costs more for Michelle’s blouse than my shirt.” Expect equal dry-cleaning costs to be the next “right” that women deserve. Forget that it’s more difficult to dry clean women’s blouses – they usually use more delicate fabric and patterns – women deserve equal pricing! Remember how birth control without a co-pay wasn't an issue until Obamacare made it one? This will probably be the same thing. Because paying more for dry cleaning is oppression. http://washingtonexaminer.com/the-next-feminist-outrage-dry-cleaning-bills/article/2547024?custom_click=rss&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Sometimes I think that granting voting rights to the women was the biggest mistake in democracy. Check this: If the voting was restricted to males, then Obama would have never become the POTUS.

I can't imagine any more genuinely sexist social or cultural manifestation than witches, warlocks, half man half goat devil dogs, and don't forget Godzilla. But hey, maybe we actually really want sexist stuff. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0051380/

Look at the historic poll numbers. Women have always voted for the pro-banking and pro-welfare parties. And even in a recent poll, women favored banning the Bitcoin, while the majority of the men were against any such measure.
