2018 can pass 2017 if you check total raised amount. This year we see more regulations as governments want to fight against money laundry schemes. It's healthy for economy if real investors put their money on good projects. I expect a better year for ICO industry.

I agree with you mate. Regulations are coming from new and new countries. Governments are scared of cryptocurrencies.

I'm afraid that with such speed and volatility of bitcoin, it's unlikely that something good will happen, because today there are a lot of projects that initialized the collection of funds suffered from the fact that bitcoin and ethereum began to fall in value. So here is a very sad experience.

Yes, but most of ICOs are made on Ether or NEO. Only a little percent is on btc

Surely is from january upto day there are many ICOs that achieve success more than those ICOs last year that is why it will be the year of ICOs and the altcoins this year, more successful ICOs will give us more solid altcoins that is why i am very excited this year because there will be more innovation to come, internet of things, virtual reality and artificial intelligence based projects are the ones that i am talking about.

One billion dollars raised by icos this year but everything is just the same. ICOs have lost their hype now, only money is going in and the expectations have gone down really bad. So 2018 year is a bigger year for icos? No. Bigger years for scams? Bingo. There it is. Ponzi shots are raising money while innocent companies struggle to raise anything.

i think it will be a big year for ico's this year. it is only going to grow as more and more countries get involved after they no longer trust their own nations currency as a primary investment strategy.

Yeah Crypto is really going to go beserk when the market opens door to the 3rd world!!!

Think about all the money and underbanked individuals in Africa and Asia. HODL HODL HODL hahaha

ICO is still a great way to find investors, so why should it loose its popularity among startups and already known companies? Only because of those crypto-newbies who invest in obvious scam and after it try to convince everyone around that every single ICO is a scam as well? No way.

Over 40 ICOs and over $1 billion raised already in the new year 2018.
Last year’s mark was $5.6 billion. And in 2018, the trend is not showing any signs of slowing down.
2018 bigger year for ICOs?

I think it's year when most of last ICOs will be fail and regulators will be regulate every new ICO.

Last year was like the dawn of ICOs. So many ICOs were held last year and a handful of them turning out successful. In view of this the world of ICO had began to open. We see alot of new tokens now springing up from one end or the other. 2018 is a very promising year for cryptocurrencies, even though with the regulations and every other setbacks, we are set to see another awesome year for ICOs in general.

I think it will be. I believe many interesting projects will take off this year. I think SYS and LTC are going to be huge. I also think that PinkDate will break through and become extremely popular after their ICO. Do some research on it. It's pretty bold!

ICOs are becoming more and more popular, and it has become a multi million dollar industry, and more investments are coming in the near future, and that all goes to the fact that it is a fine exemple of what cryptocurrency is capable of doing and how it made many great ideas come to live, and that is why we find many poeple supporting it, and that is why its market keeps on growing each day.

I think this year will be very successful for the new ICOs, many projects have already shown good growth at the beginning of the year. I think this year will be a record for many projects

Yeap, I most certainly think so since a lot of people are already being curious about crypto currencies and being drawn into it which is why a lot of articles on the internet are explaining a lot about cryptos. I mean damn! Things about cryptos nowadays are just about anywhere! Even when you do not want to hear anything about it, it voluntarily show up in your social media accounts, in advertisements on various sites and informational articles regardless of the topic being talked about the author. This is the reason why the trend is continually increasing.
