This might be an unpopular opinion but I think over the long term the coins that will be targeted most will be these privacy coins. They do have a use case but Im not sure governments will allow them. Its either Japan or South Korea that are banning them off exchanges

The Monero project was originally conceived as a reliable secure payment system, eliminating bitcoin problems. And we can say that the developers coped with this task. If the project Bytecoin in the rating of cryptocurrency by capitalization struggles with difficulty for 30th place, then its Monero fork closes TOP-10. The fact that the coin took on the platform of the "black" market, already indicates that the security and anonymity of transactions in the payment system at a high level.

Dear bitcoin community,

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.

Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.

So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?

I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

I deeply appreciate your contribution on this thread.
I will say that it is a good investment in this year because due to too much regulations people now are liking the privacy coins and they will definitely come to invest their money in monero so it is sure when the price of bitcoin start to increase then people will also invest their money in monero and the price of monero will increase too much higher.

In my opinion Monero is worth the investment. Especially right now when Monero prices are pretty low. Monero is altcoin with very good technology, it can not be hacked, all Monero transactions are completely anonymous. No third party can find the Monero user, even the government. In the future when the government issues regulations to control crypto, I believe there will be a lot of people using Monero. By then Monero would become more popular and of great value

As per recent news the bitcoin house country just like japan are in consideration to allow or disallow the anonymous currency to be traded in the japan exchange site becomes a big bet for all of the anonymous cryptocurrency.
If the anonymous coin is not getting listed on the exchange site, how they can invest their money in the privacy coin.  it looks not possible.

Just because already everybody in the dark web is asking for Monero, as you say, I think that it may be a bit too late to speculate on Monero's rise. After all, it already had a huge growth. It's true that it could grow even more, but those kind of 100X rises everybody is dreaming about in crypto are quite unlikely with a coin which is already so much capitalized. If you'd like to invest in emerging Privacy coin you could give a thought at DeepOnion and Zen. DeepOnion has a very little Capitalization still, and ZEN is going to deliver an amazing privacy based platform.

I think that yes, it is. There are not many good cpu-minable coins nowadays. Monero is a classic one amongst them I should say.

Most coins will go to zero sooner or latter.  No one use them now and no one will use them in future. They are just a vehicle of speculation right now.  They will not be anymore tomorrow.  Value of all coins that will be used in the future will increase. But not only x100.

I think that  Monero cryptocurrency is a good investment. Monero has a great potential to grow and become a popular currency. Every type of investment contains risks and every one needs to make their own research before buying. No doubt, one of the biggest benefits of Monero is privacy. Monero has been on the list of the biggest cryptocurrencies for a while.

Yes, monero is one of my favorite coin because it has high anonymity.
monero transaction create a ring with others, making it hard or impossible to track the address of the recipient or sender.
it is a good investment friend, you will never regret later.

monero is a quite sort of crypto currency. While its siblings ride the roller coaster of value spikes and valleys, Monero sits in the background serving its purpose as a useful and private digital currency.

Monroe's anonymity is indeed very advantageous, but it is precisely because of its anonymity that the risk of investing may be greater. Many countries will prohibit the trading of privacy coins.

The way you elaborate monero in your post, yes it is a good crypto to invest with. As you can see today prices are not totally going high, most especially bitcoin. So we have to find another option and monero I think is a good one. Aside from it's cheap price it is also on the top of the list on cryptocurrencies.

Monero is one of the best anonymous coins and a cheap currency for transactions. I think this is a good option for long-term investments.

Monero is worth holding for a long time . most countries will tax cryptocurrencies in the near future . Monero is the privacy currency . it cannot be traced , so it can be used for tax avoidance .

If you want to invest in Monero, then I advise you to do this for a long term.  If for a short term, it is better to invest in eth.

Monero is good option for investments! The privacy of transactions does it popular. I think to buy it not late, it will surely increase in price. But it isnt necessary to stake on one coin, consider also other options.
