Is Monero a Good Investment?

Dear bitcoin community,

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.


Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.

So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?

I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

Well, Monero has a great potential it is completely decentralized and the transaction is fast.. but in terms of investment, if you have much in your wallet and losing your investment in monero doesnt make you poor,then you can try and tell us in two years time how was your investment going,but if your investing for the welfare of your family and you dont have much as if you were taking investment as a job then maybe you should invest in bitcoin or etherium because etherium is second next to bitcoin while monero,,the last time I checked its on number 9 so why settle for it when there is the best.B itcoin is the most trusted crypto currency nowadays.

Tomorrow Huobi will add Monero. That is quite good short time investment. I am pretty sure tomorrow will be Monero worth more then today.

Monero is pretty good investment as well as a mining coin itself.

I did it for a while before porting over to other "easier" to mine coins with gamble potential.

Monero is a good project that I will advise everybody to queue in . But the only one I regretted ever embarking in is monero gold,the developers just abandoned the project half way

Monero is the only cryptocurrency left with the intention of decentralised mining, Most of other coins have reached industrial grade of mining.
Monero keeping a high level of anonymity is also an educationally or experimentally feasible mineable coin with a decentralized community.

I think privacy coins like monero are always a good investment but I think Monero has already a big market cap, so I would also look into alternatives like Verge that might have a bigger upside.

Yes monero is good, it has a possibility for a bull run for the next years. With its top notch feature, and the anonymity that the other user cant trace any transactions you made certainly give you a privacy. A good coin that you can use when you don't want your transactions to be traced by other user.

Personally, I think monero is a good long-term investment.

Monero is one of the best anonymous altcoin, and its community is developing rapidly.

Monero is not showing much of a momentum for the past few months. In 2017, a lot of users were discussing about the possibility of XMR replacing ETH as the no.2 crypto. But XMR has gone down since then, and no longer feature in the top-5 cryptos as of now.

yes, I think like that too, monero is good crypto for investment because, with monero's sophisticated privacy-centric technology, we can get all the security benefits of the blockchain without any of the privacy trade-offs. Also, it can't be hacked to steal funds, due to the power of distributed consensus

Monero crypto currencies have become popular on the stock market and investors are mostly preferred. The low value of the stock market in general has affected the price of Monero. the value will soon increase.

 Yes monero is a good investment to hold for long term because it has a potential in the future. The community of Monero is healthy and the volume of it in the market is also good thus in the future you can make a profit out of it.
