Monero has huge potential and not many people have anything bad to say about the project. I'm bullish on XMR.

Monero is the number one coin when it comes to privacy and that makes its future very bright. But what I fear is that the governments are going to come hard after privacy coins like Monero as they make tracking its transactions impossible. Also few Japanese exchanges removed the Monero trading from their exchanges due to this fear.

No.  It is better to invest in EOS or ETH for a longer term than in Monero.  I think the price of Monero will not grow very much.

Yes monero is a good investment  I think so and agree with others here. I have seen monero going green even when bitcoin at that time was so much plague by negative ideas that there was so much fear in investing on it. Bitcoin was very low valued at that time. And it was also the time when I saw monero sparked in green when almost everything was in red.

If you buy cheap it's a great investment. I remember when I bought my Moneroj below 1 dollars. It was long time ago though. Now I think it's overpriced. I wouldn't buy from this price.

Dear bitcoin community,

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.


Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.

So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?

I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

i think yes, monero is one of a good coin, especially for long term investment. because it has a potential in the future. his volume of it in the market is also good, i'm sure in the future you can make a profit out of it.

I think that the anonymity of Monero definitely is a factor but on the other hand Darkweb share of Monero transactions are not supporting current Monero price. I would say that if you made a Good TA and if that gave you a positive result, it would be a green signal to buy it.

Monero is one of the coins which has a good future potential. But during the past few months, it is not showing much of momentum, and this may be due to the competition from the other crypto-coins. But I still have belief in this particular coin and I expect it to go up in the coming months.

I have never invested on Monero yet, but I will consider that this year when some of my alts would go up. I would use some of them to buy Monero for long-term investment
