Yeah, I often find some people in deep web ask for Monero as payment and many of them ask for ETH too. Of course I agree that Monero is good investment even it listed on page one Coinmarketcap.

Monero is useful for all the transactions and I don't know why you think that it can be used only for the "dirty" transactions. I am not very comfortable with going public with any of my payments. It can create a lot of issues, especially from the hackers and from the tax authorities.

Monero certainly was a good investment. I don't know what would happen in the future but it was an amazing investment back when it was released. I used to be mining Monero for some time and earned some good amounts. Not sure if a tenfold can be seen in a near future but that train was certainly a fun one to ride

Sure. Monero is a good alt coin to invest. On one hand, Monero is a anonymous coin which is one of the oldest coin in the trading market. For the other hand, mining is free to everyone, no matter it's based on CPU or GPUs. Everyone can take participate in this instead of only for mining pools.

Because Monero coins are fungible.   What if you invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum and those Bitcoins or Etehreums you bought were sold to you from guy that just hacked Bithumb?  You will get police knocking on your door tomorrow asking you how come you bought stolen Bitcoins and Etehreum.   With Monero this simply cant happened, because Monero ledger is private and no one can trace it from one wallet to another.   I hope i opened your eyes

If you buy your BTC or ETH on the real exchange nothing knock to you. And it's not important which coin you buy in this case. Why scare the beginners?   But yes, XMR is my 'black day' reserve.
