You should stop trading , it obviously isn't for you , you also shouldn't blindly want to make up this loss. Trading is much harder then it looks and it takes some serious skill and time investment. It is much easier to invest and hodl for a long time . Right now the market is pretty low , do some research on coins and just buy some of the ones you like. Much easier and a lot less stress.

I am not an expert myself, but in my opinion it is better to invest in fundamental coins. it is to invest, not to play on the stock exchange, especially if you do not know how to do it. And still it is important to remember - while we keep and we do not sell, we not in plus and not in minus.

I think, as many before me has said. Right now, with Mt.Gox and everything causing "ripples" in the water - it is best to just sit still in the boat and wait - dont sell with a loss, then its not a loss. You still have the coins you bought. Never ever use money you can't loose on crypto - the last sentence cannot be stressed enough.

They might get loss their money if they can't take any longer of holding their tokens.  As a trader,  we must have to learn how to be patient  because not all the time that prices in the market are good. If you don't have this  character, it is much better if you never been here cause it only give you headache and you well be losing your money in an easy way.

There is a fault in your trading planning not in Crypto World.Blind trading is not acceptable in Crypto.Always trade in those coins which have strong value to offer,there are many coins emerging on daily basis into crypto world which does not carry any strong idea behind them these are only dump and pump no specific purpose to deliver when you would invest in these hyped/overpriced surely you would lose some portion of your trading or whole your trading.So before trading knowledge about every coin,its histroy,development,clear roadmap,proper search is preferred otherwise blind investment may lead you to get you out of your investment.$13k is a big amount it can be back if you revise your investment strategy whatever left with you hold it for some time or i dont know in which coins have you invested.If you have invested in shit coins then face the music now.

Now very many good coins have fallen in price, this is because of the general negative trend in the market. If the author of the topic most of the investment is concentrated in good projects, then I advise you to show patience. After the market recovery, the situation with the prices of promising projects should normalize.

Sorry for your loss buddy. That's some of the many many things that can happen to anyone on crypto. Many investors has lost so much from last year up till now. Anyways i have some opinion for all traders in such opinion. I have suffered a loss as well myself. So this is what I do when market dips hard and turns all red. I start a new form of trading with new funds. I know it's difficult to that but that is what I do. With this new funds, don't be greedy, just sell of any profit you make in it, and keep it as a recovery for your lost fund (though it is already there just that market price is down). So you do so frequently and you'll see that some time soon you'll recover at least half of your lost money, and who knows! maybe luckily for you the price will hit hard past what you thought and that becomes a double win for you (because the money you thought you have lost will gain profit + your new fund that you invested). So the fact is that, never fear to invest, and you'll always recover.

Well it happen that you have learn a hard lesson from trading crypto currency. And I strongly believe that you have realise each of the mistake you have made while trading. Equally, am sure you did not have enough trading experience before you venture your capital and remember that trading is not meant for everyone.

There is always a lesson to learn from everything that happens to one in life and I am sure he must have learned his own. While some learn from others, some will just have to learn from their own silly mistakes. Not learning and trading is a very silly mistake which a lot of people like the Op have ended up learning the hard way. However, he is not in loss yet and if he can be patient enough and he is sure he is holding good coins, then he should not have a problem.

I have not seen anyone who has not one way or the other view some losses in their holdings before but as long as you have not converted them to fiat and get out of the cryptocurrency world complaining about losses, then you have lost nothing because when the market recovers, you will get all you have lost back and get even much more in profit in the long run.

Altcoins tradings are  risky at moments, but also the profit we receive by it is far more than bitcoin and ethereum. 13000$, now that sounds pretty healthy amount of money. If you are not good at trading, best thing to do is invest you money in cryptos with potential for long term and stop doing short term or middle term trades.

Just buy some bitcoin, ethereum,neo,xmr and xrp and hold them in hardware wallet for atleast 1-2 years to see significant growth. And even if you had asked many experienced traders, always do your own research and analysis before buying and selling a coin.

Definitely a result of buying without reading or checking some fundamentals. I don't know how to do even basic TA but before purchasing coins I'll make sure that there is something significant coming like mainnet launch, rebranding, burning of coins and many more and one more important things is joining their community chat in telegram or discord this will keep you updated and atleast learn about investors sentiments. Check the coinmarket cap also try to check the chart and identify the all time low and all time high to set your price target if you did not do this thing before you invest you deserve to lose but at the same time learned your lesson and identify your mistakes.
