If trading is not working for you then dont put your much input into it. just invest in good coins for long term and keep searching for good ico and invest in those. that will give you more returns then trading.

Have lost so much money on coins that doesn't work well for me. I know I'm being impatient and ignorant this maybe a good time to find some insight and good answers on how to get better

First of all we should have some confidence to trade or else we will loose. For everyone in the beginning they will be facing much losses than profit, we should learn from the mistakes and turn them in to positive moves rather than to skip from being trading.

Most of the people that are new to trading will likely experience to lose some of their trades at the beginning. It can be avoided as long as we learn how the markets move. I lose too when i try trading for the first time and other days too that i can't profit because of my wrong strategy. It does not stop me from doing trading and always learn new things about trading but if you are losing hope i agree with you that he must try for a long term investment. Maybe this time it can be successful. Just research your long term goal.

You might want to paper trade to test out your system. You need to fully understand technical analysis and determine the time frame you are trading.  Day? Swing? Position?

Use a Heikiin Ashi chart which will show you the trends very easily, green is up, red is down.
The Stochastics tool is a good way to see overbought and oversold areas which you can find buy/sell points.
Use trend lines as they typically will show support/resistance
Fibonacci will also show support/resistance
Bollinger bands will show you overbought / oversold areas.

If you do not need to trade, you probably shouldn't and just HodL
great advice there, you must be a good trader the way you delivered advices sounds a perfect tools for success, maybe OP must listen to this one as great potentials for best results.i will look out for this thread for further knowledge, though im long in trading but this advices is new to me.you deserve something for this

I have monitored the Gold/Silver/Miners sector since 2006 or so and have done some trading. I've used the analysis methods to the crypto markets as well, but mostly hodL for the long term. The above analysis tools are basically the essential ones that most if not all traders use, for all time frames as well.

There are very good professional traders, but one needs to be disciplined and needs to be able to admit when they are wrong and exit the position. This is where most fail as everyone has an ego and think they are right with their analysis... the market is never wrong.

I think you need a guru which will teach and instruct you how to trade correctly and gain a profits. Really, the crypto exchange markets are hardly predictable, but the general direction can be figured out. I guess that the current global falling is just a temporary correction and the crypto currencies will grow in the one week, therefore do not fix the looses.

The only you could have lost on trading is when you are selling at a price lower than the price you bought the coin because of your impatience.
Just like you said, that you lost because of your impatience,  I'd advise you to be very patient when trading especially when you are trading on a short term. Sometimes, the price of coin don't increase for some time, some even go for about two to three days without an increase.
So the best thing to do is to be very patient and not panic sell when there is a dump in the price of a coin

Trading does not suit everyone because not everyone is patient enough. As you know trading requires an investment and a lot of patients so that the market can take his action according to its time. Always try with a small amount of money if you have lost a lot of money in trading then I will advise trying switching to any other earning method. Polish your skill without Investments for trading you will need decision-making skills and market reading skill such as candlestick graph reading and other.

The problem is that the cryptocurrency market is too small and very fast. We can not keep up. You can only book and bet your property. It is difficult to say this. If you want your assets to be preserved and grow you need team and high experience.

If you've already lose that much, isn't it the perfect time to quit trading? Lost opportunities (your coins) just can't come flying back. I am not in any way belittling your trading strategies but so much money on coins had been wasted. Switch to long term investing. Long term investing tend to exhibit lower volatility and the more likely you will be able to weather low market periods.

I'll give you straight forward advice on how you can recovery.

Surely you learned something by now from your mistakes... Anyway I'll dumb it down...

Stop day-trading, margin trading, short trading w/e you're doing don't touch any ICO's either etc., you clearly have no knowledge / strategy etc.

I have no clue what you have in portfolio, but if you have lot of shit coins in your portfolio, like random useless alts that aren't even in top200 for example and you don't believe 200% in them, then just drop them (sell them) for any of those BTC / ETH / LTC and then just HOLD (HODL if you want)... not saying you gotta sell everything you have, just sell USELESS SHIT COINS THAT that you aren't sure about or don't know to well.
By HOLD I mean, go LONG (1-2 years).

Investing is about knowledge (invest only in what you understand), strategy (when to enter / exit etc.), commitment and objectivity. Don't forget to leave your emotions at side, never sell based on your emotions (this is probably the hardest for everyone, as everyone has an EGO, don't let your EGO stop you making profits).

Also don't forget that you can trade on paper / virtually (eg. sometimes I create dummy portfolios, add coins I am thinking of buying and monitor it), several times I would made small fortune, but several times I would lose all, the best of it is that I've learned huge deal on my own "mistakes".

Good luck!

Better idea to have such transition when you do find out that short term doesnt really work for you and still keep losing for most of your trades. Then its not a bad idea on going for long term and while you do wait better to backtest regarding to your mistakes that have been committed in the past so that while you do have long term positions you can able to utilize yourself on making short tradings which is an advantage.

exactly. You need to learn more to be profitable from trading. It is best to invest in the short term and find out the cost of altcoin. That will help you minimize the risk and get a profit. That is the best bet for beginner traders and I hope you get a good result in the future.

actually trading is perfect for those who have a very high patience because it is definitely a lot of talk and you can easily be fooled if you do not have a way to control your condition is sure you will easily provoked other people's talk and will be hard to profit from trading. once again the key to trading is your patience try to persuade your patience to get a lot of profit.

Trading does not work for everyone, it needs your decision and your research so without hard work, I don't think trading is profitable. To earn money from any source you have to do hard work but if you think trading is not your type of stuff then try other stuff like doing projects for Bitcoin are starting your own business by investing some amount of money on websites and Facebook ads.

You are right, it is not working to everybody especially if you the type of person who wants results after some tries, and don't have much patience to wait for a good outcome, we should not be like that or else we will end up losing.

That's the life of trading, most trader/investor had experienced mistakes but this is just a lesson to us to improve our knowledge/strategy in trading.
Losing your money on that day is just a trial so this is my advice for you, next time control your emotion if you trade again, don't sell your holdings if it is low because until the market is alive and coin prices are still moving you will never loss there are still a chance win.

My advice for you if the trading don't work for you then it is better to stop it than experimenting more unless if you still can afford to lose more money. You just buy and hold bitcoin then it will give more profits than trading with ease.
