Have lost so much money on coins that doesn't work well for me. My flaws are I'm  impatient and ignorant this maybe a good time to find some insight and good answers on how to get better

You might want to paper trade to test out your system. You need to fully understand technical analysis and determine the time frame you are trading.  Day? Swing? Position?

Use a Heikiin Ashi chart which will show you the trends very easily, green is up, red is down.
The Stochastics tool is a good way to see overbought and oversold areas which you can find buy/sell points.
Use trend lines as they typically will show support/resistance
Fibonacci will also show support/resistance
Bollinger bands will show you overbought / oversold areas.

If you do not need to trade, you probably shouldn't and just HodL

The answer is already there if you are impatient then by starting a new strategy you can stick on it. Ofcourse you need to have a good understanding on a good plan to buy and exit because patience is not enough without it. Next is the coin you are about to buy should be a good for either long term or short term.

How did you lost that much money? Buying high and selling low because of panic?
You would not lost your money if you did not sell it at lower price than when you bought. The key is keep being patient by holding your coins, if you want to do cut loss then you should do follow up to recover your lost. Doing cut loss only with no other actions = BIG LOSE.

It is not only you, a lot of other investors who have been trading is having the same problem. I think that a different approach is required. Just buy bitcoin and Ethereum and hold for long-term. Forget about short-term trading.

Like you have rightly said maybe you don't have much knowledge on how trading work and you may need to develop your knowledge on this area. Trading is a game play by the skillful therefore you must endeavour to learning how to buy the coins at the right time and make a good profit from it.  Many investors and new traders always think that when to buy a coins is not important and at the end  invest into a coins at the wrong time.

Also, don't go for all new shit coins for fast profit instead concentrate more on top coins. Even though they go down but if you can wait then you will make a good profit in the long run.

The answer is simple, if you think it dont work for you then just quit trading. Rather than trading why not just investing and hold in a long term timeframe, you said that you're impatient then its clearly because you're looking at the chart too much. You are not alone, it does not work for most people but I think even the best traders lose money like most people but their gains are always more than losses.

Anybody will have same experience like you have include me so my suggestion will not work.
But because you have problem with choosing coins which dont work so better you invest in top marketcap coin like etherium

You shouldn't be disappointed as a very small percentage of traders are able to earn money from trading. You are better off just hodling your coins in the long run than say trading. As according to stats, Bitcoin has given more return to hodlers than traders.

Trading Cryptos requires patience the basic thing is to have a good trading strategy and belief in your strategy having demo trade and consistently making profit before going live, it is not advisable to jump from strategy to another and also trade with the amount of money you can afford to lose I.e always trade with a stop loss to avoid losing all your investment.

You didn't stated how did you loss your trades, and when did you buy? most common mistakes that beginners do is once they have the money they immediately enter the market, and that is wrong. If you are a short term/day trader you would probably wait for the price to drop before buying. About the being impatient, you will always lose if you don't have patience because you have to understand that the cryptocurrency market are highly volatile and not always going on top, if you can't then trading is not for you. Losing your trade is very normal that is why sometimes you have to cut your loss and just re-enter the market when the price correction stops.

Trading is not for those who are impatient. Trading is not a magic where you can earn a lot in a snap of a finger. I know patient only is not enough because we need more than that patient like technical and fundamental analysis.
But as i know though you have the good analysis but if you are impatient then you will have huge loss.

You need patience if you want to make money from your investment and mainly you need to be calm when the prices are falling.And you need.to follow the basic rule of buy low and sell high then you never lose your money.

Then dont be impatient and ignorant if you dont want to loose more money form this. The trading is game play of those who are very patient and also keen readers of the market signal. They sense everything in short period of time and act quickly on it whenever it is needed by them. This is just one thing, if you want to be good trader then you should also have the good test of the coins that you are choosing. However if you yourself have accepted that trading dont work for you then forget about it as you have already made the psychology and you may not win in this method at any cost if you dont work hard.

Iam also in big lose now because iam too confident if the price continue going up but in fact the price drop alot. So now i just hodl my coin fo long term investment. I know the risk so now i just relax and wait for bullish trend.

dude i think you have know what your weakness you said it you ar impatient and you still do trading, if you are people like maybe trading is not the best choice for you. my be you can try investment on ICO or invesment in long term not trading. you can buy coin and forget it. this is not easy for impatient person because i know your feeling dude.

Currently for this I would like to suggest you that don't go for the short term trading , I mean if you are buying and selling coin in short one and in many cases coin's market get crash then it is more better to leave the tension about that coin and hold that coin for long term ( for this you need to have lots of patience to hold the coin ) .
Here you are not only in this field that you are thinking that it is not working for you but same thing is happening with most of the people .
So keep patience with your investment in different different coins .
Otherwise if you will get into Panic and will try to sell your coin at low price then that will result only in loss .

The key thing is to start with only small amounts. Understand that you can't win on every trade. Practice risk management - the only people who go all-in are in the movies. In real life, if you go all-in and are on a losing trade, that is you wiped out.

You lose some you get up and try again, you dont just quit after one loss.
Just one clue though. Dont believe some pumps and dumps group. Make your own research or try to monitor the token first before getting back there.

First thing is to review your portofolio,check in their website for how the development going.If there will be a major update,stick to that and start investing more,usually the price will be rising a moment before the update release.The standard strategy is to buy the rumor and sell the news,this is not guaranteed strategy,so feel free to take into consideration.

Trading is a rather difficult job. And those who think that trading in the market will receive a large profit immediately lose their money. Coins need to constantly analyze and study the news background of these coins, in order to make the right decisions on buying coins. And not everyone can do this work.

I can understand your concern, trading is not everyone's cup of tea. It requires high attention and flexibility and people like me, having other full time work can not really give that required time span so I am more comfortable in investing rather than trading. Both the options has its own pros and cons and one should analyse his profile before choosing any option.

That's right, trading involved so many risks especially when we are new. We must be strong enough to accept failures because after that I am sure we be getting stronger and will become trading expert. The more we exposed to trading is the more we will be master on it.

thats sad. i think you need first control your self of being inpatient because in crypto trading patience is important. maybe you should try to avoid in day trading and fomo just buy potencial coin for to hold long term.

The whole point of a newbie entering the market is to buy coins as cheap as possible, all in the hope to strike a jackpot like how Bitcoin and Ethereum have exploded in value. It's not for nothing that utter shitcoin exchanges such as Yobit, Hitbtc, Ccex, Cryptopia, etc, all managed to gain an insane number of users in quite a short period of time. The majority of the newbies chase shitcoins because they are cheap and allow them to buy a lot with a very small initial investment. Regardless of how much time you invest in researching these shitcoins, you'll never even manage to obtain one single bit of useful information. People just need to accept that investing in shitcoins is basically the same as gambling, but that's something get rich quick fools don't seem to understand yet.

Trading is best way to get profit because for sure if you have patient to hold your coin you can wait the price to increase so you can make profit for sure.  Don't be impatient because the result will not good and you lose some of your profit.

When starting your career in trading i've also lost alot of money and that made me more determined to trade more and get back the money i lost and earn more.

Don't lose hope if your trading experience doesnt good for you. Learned to be patient in every trading session your doing. Most experience this losing at first because of being too emotions and being impatient. Trading is the best that we can get profit so hold into your emotions.

Trading its a very long way to get experience and start trading with good profit could take you 3-5 years also. Better to start to trade with small money and little trades.

I think you probably do not have much experience in the cryptos market. I know you are losing money and are impatient, but be calm, don't be too impatient and hurry because it will make you make unreasonable decisions. Take a few days off, think and find the cause. Yes, the problem lies in experience and luck. I started at 4k and fast at 11k, right after that i slipped without brakes and back to 3k. It is too difficult to devote time to analyzing and exchanging information on coin trends and impacts to create value fluctuations.

Long term is definitely better for those who don't have that much can't cope with the price. With gambling, there's a big chance for you to win but there's also equally the chance that you would lose. Trading is not suitable for everyone. Those who aren't capable of controlling their emotions would incur much more loss in short trades. I agree, it is really easy to lose money in trading if you're inexperienced newbie. Some just don't have needed 'skill' for trading, while some buys risky coins and ends up losing their funds. Investments aren't the perfect way to earn as it is still quite risky, but if person is bad in trading, it's better to invest money somewhere instead of using them for trading and losing them.

Trust me. I was in your situation, so to speak, I started from zero. I invested $300 more with hardships, after 3 months my 300$ reduced to $85. Then I tried to learn slowly, and in the last 2 month, I worked on my 90% success trade. And I get $900. Since then, I did not have to look behind, so you have to learn first

If you dont have the will to do trading and you doesnt find yourself there, then dont do it anymore. Maybe try something more like mining etc. You dont want to do things you dont want to so if you do it then maybe you will find yourself more deeper in loosing. It depends on your approach and methodology towards trading. Most especially, the lasck of basic knowledge might be te problem. Most people who jump into Crypto trading without prior knowledge always fall victim of that, I have been in that shoe and sometimes I still find myself in it. Ive actually lost some also, Trading requires more of time and effort. If you miss a sudden increase you wont actually get a good profit. Since Im not yet trading full time, I know that I wont earn that much. So insteaf of trading, I do the basic of holding and just adding amounts from time to time. And it actually works for me, I gain more than what I do when trading. Trading is risky, specially when you make a not so wise guesse.

Trading for me is a difficult thing to do especially in my first try. I do have a lot of mistakes and loses and it also comes to my mind that maybe trading is not for me because it don't work for me well, but I didn't gave up to try and try because I believe that I could analyze properly the system of trading. Even until now I'd still on process of learning new things and everytime I trade I already equipped myself with a huge patience.

What you need is to stop trading immediately so you stop your losses and then you need to really dedicate yourself to try to learn how to trade for the next 6 months after that you can start again and if by that time you are also unable to get success then it is likely that trading is not for you and that you need to find another way to make money with cryptocurrencies.

this may not be what you want to hear , but maybe trading isn't for you. like you say yourself you are impatient , which is a bad trait to have when you are trading. you really don't want to trade on emotion. if you make a bad trade you have to choices , to hold or to sell and both can be right. this is what will make you a good trader. if you are able to take your losses or know when to keep hodling.

Bro now a days market is very bearish so that's why now every altcoin is very much low.

I think you have to be more careful regarding this issue, but don't be impatient and careless about this trading. Trading is the platform where you need to take every step very carefully. not only that but also you have to gather a lot of information regarding this issue. I think patience is the best key to success on this platform so you need to take your time with a lot of good information.

I must admit that trading in cryptocurrency is not for everybody. Only a few of traders will become successful and large of percentage are those unsuccessful. But if this is the case shall we stop trading in the market. My answer is no. The percentage of successful trader is small because many of us are lazy to learn the trading practice. Many noobs to learn the trading secret and they tend to rely on gossip and friends advise.

If you will focus more on the trading foundations which is the technical analysis I will guarantee you a big chance of success. TA is the central theme of trading practice, learns it very well and chances of winning are almost reachable.

Im also impatient when i first started trading on forex. I did not quit. instead i continue my journey on trading forex and now crypto. I watched motivational videos from successful forex traders. I watched billionaires and millionaires and their story. I read a book Rich Dad Poor Dad. And im very thankful because of that loss i started to realize what is wrong on myself. For now i am quietly having decent gains on crypto trading.

If you feel that trading is not good for you, then you should try to find other ways that can make you profit, because making money in cryptocurrency is not just about trading but can be by investing or following some bounty.

Watch out for developments / news. Try to sell a few days before the event date.

This is because the crypto market is unpredictable, iam also in big loss now and i dont know why that coin drop alot even though that coin has good in fundamental. But maybe wait patient is best way to recover loss.

I think you better plan about the buy and exit strategy. It is the most important pair in the trading society and it seems that the coin we have today are mere short terms,  short terms are meant to be a bad coins. The unpredictable coins are also a bad thing be cautious on the red trust because it's the same thing will happen after you joined a short period campaign so it may save you to the middle of loss.

An impatient person can never make profitable trades for a long term. Patience is the key aspect to make profitable trades. I had lost much of my money in trading during the initial days but later I took a break from it. Tracked my progress and planned on how to make my trades efficient. I would advise you to not to sell your coins in a loss and keep holding tight until the price is enough to get a good profit. Sorry to hear that. First put a limit on how much you are investing. Do not go beyond what you are willing to lose. Next, you have to be emotionally stable. You just cannot cash out when you are feeling sad that btc is dropping. Try to understand that your loss is still unrealizable, meaning can still recover if you are not cashing it out. Swap it to cash only at a profit. If not, hold onto it first until the price recovers.

My recommendation for you if u dont have lucky to trade crypto , just find good pool which collect money to invest in perspetive ICO projects and just invest money there , u will get good profit from that if they have good analytics team to scan ico and regret scams.

I guess you have made correct diagnosis of your trading problem.  The question now is what are you going to do about these setback going forward.  Nothing get better until you get better yourself.  Learn.  Observe and  get over yourself.  Be patient.

trading is not for everyone so dont worry ,instead you go for other choice that is hold but for that also do not miss the chance to sell at pump and buy at dump,basically focus on increasing the quantity of the coin as in future it is obvious that coin price will increase thus giving good profit later on.u can also try out bot if you want to do trading ,it is bit risky but you can gain quick gains through it and you can also try out buying cheap token after they hit exchange and sell them whenever you get good profit.

That’s a good advice. If you are bad at day trading and short term trading, its better than you buy some good and reliable coins and hold them for long term to get good returns. I would recommend coins such as NEO, XMR, BTC, ETH, XRP and IOTA for long term holding. Distribute your investment in these 6 coins and mark my word you will be in good profit at the end of 2018.

I agree, be patient is included when we trade some coins in the market. If trading really does'nt work good, learned from your mistakes then start to analyze again the market. Patient, and determination for us to have a better profit.

Well, first trading attemp is always a risk, so know body is exempted with in that issue unless you have a good teacher in trading, maybe you've carried away by many negative issue pertaining to value of bitcoin and altcoin that is slowly down that it gives the decision going to lose of control being impatient. Trading for long term period is a good decision for investment. Before trading, you should come to read news and any other social media to decide whether buy or not. You should have patience enough to hold BTC and alts whether their prices fluctuated at higher range. What's more, you should distribute your money for several coins such as BTC, ETC.

How can you say thay the coins doesn't works well for you? Can you give more further explanation or story how did it happen. And for impatience it is your desire any coins have a good sell time when you have a gains in the buying price you bought. But this is trading, so you dont need to be impatient.
There are good signs that the marke will start to rise again, so... don't panic.

To me i think trading require some experience and strategies, i think you should change your trading strategies and should first get some trading experience and skill and after that i am sure that you will get a more better result, you need to study the crypto market continuously and after that you should try to select a crypto currency for trading, hope through this way you will surely get a good result and will surely make good money from trading.

If it is your first time then i guess it is normal for first timers to be excited and lose some at first. But the thing is you must learn from your mistakes and be mindful to not do it or it must not happen to you again. Maybe you should train yourself to be patient, the coin not work is also due to inappropriate analysis, you must understand how the market moves especially when there is news about cryptocurrency because the main role of market movement is news in my opinion.

I've lost money in trading as well and I stop trading for a while because at first I thought it is not for me but later on realized that if others can do it, I can do it too so I got back after almost a year of hibernation. Before, I didn't study trading properly and got involved with it because I can see others are profitable especially those that post they are earning 10x or even 100x and I want that too but I end up being rekt. I learned that trading is not that simple especially when it comes to emotions.

I started from the simple terms like knowing the shapes of the candles and then proceed with how to use technical analysis in trading. Even if you know it all, the hard part is controlling your emotions and you can only do it by trading always so that in due time, you can control it. Cut lose can be done after some several research like the technical and fundamental..
If all analysis says that the price will further down then cutlose is allowed but if not strong hold is more suggested.

Trading is not something that will work for you overnight.You have to be patient for it.People certainly think if they are trading in forex,they can very well trade in Crypto as well but this is not the case.Crypto requires lot of knowledge and calculation before trading.In your case figure out what your problem is whether you are impatient or you have less knowledge.Work on that and than invest small amount first.You will definitely get good returns from it.

One thing I know if now you are not effective in trading then stop it than lose all your money because of keep trying in  trading. All you have to do know is to study your lessons on how you lose your money, learned from your mistakes. And learned how to let go of it you must become wise in about choosing a coin or token.

I have monitored the Gold/Silver/Miners sector since 2006 or so and have done some trading. I've used the analysis methods to the crypto markets as well, but mostly hodL for the long term. I have no clue what you have in portfolio, but if you have lot of shit coins in your portfolio, like random useless alts that aren't even in top200 for example and you don't believe 200% in them, then just drop them (sell them) for any of those BTC / ETH / LTC and then just HOLD (HODL if you want)... not saying you gotta sell everything you have, just sell USELESS SHIT COINS THAT that you aren't sure about or don't know to well.
By HOLD I mean, go LONG (1-2 years).

Investing is about knowledge (invest only in what you understand), strategy (when to enter / exit etc.), commitment and objectivity. Don't forget to leave your emotions at side, never sell based on your emotions (this is probably the hardest for everyone, as everyone has an EGO, don't let your EGO stop you making profits).

Also don't forget that you can trade on paper / virtually (eg. sometimes I create dummy portfolios, add coins I am thinking of buying and monitor it), several times I would made small fortune, but several times I would lose all, the best of it is that I've learned huge deal on my own "mistakes".

Better idea to have such transition when you do find out that short term doesnt really work for you and still keep losing for most of your trades.Then its not a bad idea on going for long term and while you do wait better to backtest regarding to your mistakes that have been committed in the past so that while you do have long term positions you can able to utilize yourself on making short tradings which is an advantage.

Don't be angry. Trading need clear mind and focus for target. Don't trade for big coin when start, start with little coin good enought for start and you will get much coin. Do not lose sight on the fact that starters, neophytes, newbies or whatever you call them will, more often than not, always find the market difficult to penetrate and fathom. And you will notice as far as you go along, that things get harder than what it purports to be. Come to think of it, if it were easy, then everybody would have done it. Hence, you being in here only means you are more than willing to take on a tough challenge that not all can take. It is indeed a privilege on your end to still be finding yourself in this circle.

Nice advice mate. I have done the same thing because i guess it is much easier to just invest in long term. It maybe take us a long time to collect our profits but what is important is it will multiple our investment and less effort compared to short term trading.

For some people trading coin is a way to get a lot of profit. but for some people, trading actually makes them lose their savings, and that includes me.
I think trading requires expertise to analyze the market and predict the increase or decrease in the price of coins in the exchange market. in trading sometimes we lose but with our strategy can be turned profit at another opportunity.

I think its time for you to change your attitude about impatient because you are just only losing all your money if you always like that. One of my strategy today is buy some good coins for me and hold for long term, after i buy that coins i stored it in my own wallet and put it in a safe place and bot always check the price.

I also find the same problem like you were. But i use the longterm investment strategy in trading though need enough long time to get profit, but it is better than you lost all of your money to trade. I think that there are too many people who are losing their money with trading. That job isn't for everyone especially if you do take that for full time job. Not everyone are successful at the start, it can take like about three years for some people. When I started, I was forced to quit several times due to things were very difficult and Bitcoin and crypto investment wasn’t as easy as many has said it is, but whenever I quit I still come back at last.

I kept on doing this for two years and getting the third year things started to get more better, the fourth year it got even more better now and  now I’m earning a lot of money from this.
