I have started up the Newton pool at http://newton.saltpool.net again and it has found 8 blocks (slowly). Feel free to join, but do it with caution. Remember to check that you are getting pending coins before committing too much time and hash. |

I will study of course the project in process, but generally the blockchain technology again a front line is offered. Saltpool is not currently mining Newton as per the dev request. Once the dev says to mine, Saltpool will mine again. You were seeing another coin (Darktaelon) - it's another cryptonight coin, but it is not Newton. This was a problem with the Saltpool website, but it has since been fixed. If you browse to http://newton.saltpool.net you will now see the Newton pool, but it is currently disabled so don't bother mining it. I will post back here again when Saltpool is able to mine Newton again. |
