If you want to earn more profit then ofcourse you have to take higher risk and buy from ico or even pre ico because you can get the token way cheaper that way, but there's risk of the price is bad when it get listed on exchange. The other way is to buy at market, the price already different from the ico but you can get it cheaper or more expensive according to the quality of the project. Personally i prefer to join the ico and take the risk because that way i can earn more money and i only join icos that based on my research are good.

It will depend on you. If you think you like the project of the ICO you would like to invest. Better buy during the ICO since it will definitely help the project grow. Besides, buying during ICO will provide you more opportunity like bonuses and airdrop as well. Sometimes, when ICO is out in the market it is really rare to have a lower selling price than the usual ICO price.

From ico aside from bonuses it is still cheap during ico but keep in mind that not all icos are good this involves investment so means the risk always takes place..  Just be observant  on choosing which ico you like to participate in.

I would say it's better to buy even on pre-sale or private sale if you are confident in ICO, its team and product. The safest way is to buy after ICO when price is down, but not always you can catch a moment with low price of coins you wish to buy

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

They are on ICO stage right now and already on the exchanges, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659058.0

Its better to buy during ICO  as it gives you a step ahead of other investors, during this time, the coins are cheaply available as the coin seeks its seed investors, if it succeeds, one stands a chance of making huge profits out of the tokens as their value would have risen

Of course on the market , usually after ICO price can drop very much, and you can buy coins for the more cheaper price. It happens in 90% cases ).

In a condition when the market declines I prefer not to buy anything, just monitor the situation and I will use to buy during ICO, but this depends on the situation.
Yes, now we are seeing a very volatile market. You can never guess where the bottom is. But I try to buy the prospective coins on the falls, but not for the whole amount. If the coin falls even lower, then I'll buy more.

Well, I observe not anymore. I see the decrease of portion alloted in the bounty. It may be reasonable for that reason. however, it is still dependent on the developing team how they spread, push and manage their project and coin in Choosing market or ICO.

Usually it happens that the price of the token falls down after listing on the exchange, but this does not always happen. Many projects in which the price actively grew after listing on the exchange. Titanium for example.

The matter of habit I do not distinguish between these two methods, and I buy from habit with asio I have been doing this for a long time and it is therefore difficult to switch to another.

I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

ICO VS MARKET

It really depends on so many factor, you need to do your due, diligence, you need to understand what affects token price and how they affect the price of a coin.

Bounty hunters are smart hunters, they know when find a good project, they know when they find a great project.

You need to consider some factor (do you due deligence ) - Things to consider.
1. PRE/PRIVATE SALE INVESTOR - you need to consider how many % were given during the pre-sale/private sale, this guy's are heavy investors and the are comfortable with a 2x-5x because they must have invested a large amount of fund.

2. BOUNTY ALLOCATION : you need to know the %of coin allocated for bounty and know how that could effect the price of the coin once on the exchange. Off course not all bounty hunters would keep their coin for urgency and many money factor some might sell off their coin it's also affect the price of a coin.

3. THE PROJECT : as an investor you need to consider the project ideology, what problem is the project trying to solve ? Does this kind of project needs blockchain technology ? Who are the potential users of this coin ? How does the coin relate to the platform ? The goes on . . .

4. TOKEN METRICS : here you consider the total supply of the coin, the amount  they are trying to raise, is it too much so such project or not.

In all understand that it's a green light for a coin to have low pre-sale bonus, low % allocated for bounty, there should be need for a project to use blockchain and finally the amount they are trying to raise should be reasonable.

If all this are in place you can then make judgement either to buy during ICO OR ON EXCHANGE.

Goodluck

not always like this. We still need to analyze the general situation on the market. If the market grows well and the project in which you invest is interesting, then when you enter the exchange, the price can grow at times. It is not uncommon that immediately after the project is released, the project gives x2. Voobshchem always on raznomu.Psto that to estimate or appreciate, it is necessary to look as quickly the capital is collected and what hajp. How much is allocated for generosity and for sale.

Well, it relies upon the capability of a venture. On the off chance that it has an effective ICO, has the great survey by the group I figure you can not purchase their tokens with a less expensive cost on trade site. Abundance investors are savvy folks, they can understand this. Purchasing at ICO is moderately shabby cost than in Market, yet the cost can be unverifiable whenever can change and to purchase in the market its cost is sure if my insight up until this point. So if you buy tokens at the time of their ICO, you can save a lot because their tokens is at the low price.

It is better to buy when the coin goes on the stock exchange. Very often that after listing on the exchange bounty members sell their coins and the price falls.

This really depends on the market.  Right now it's after the ico.  I mean I was tight that I couldn't get in coinfi and self key.  If I would have, I'd be down over 80 percent.  So it really depends on the market.

Investors are people that different from trader, if they knew the product of ICO are really potential they don't really care about pump and dump from impatient short desires people, because investors know true value of ICO.

You can gain a lot of profit from buying in ico because the prices are low or cheap but the risk is higher and it is also hard to tell whether it can succeed or grow. Doing researches, studies and analyzing  helps in finding a good ico but luck will be a factor in finding a successful one.
