I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

It all depends on the viability of the project and the feedback from the community. If the project is viable definitely, you cannot get that token cheap from the market

generaly is better to invest in ico because they give you bonus so it mean free coins or tokens but to buy in market you ll be with the price that the seller want but in bear market as it happened in the last 2 months people panic sell to get back their money so some investors in ico sell with loss but now days i see market act better wich mean for your question is best to invest in ICO phase

Buying in ICO part will get you more coins, but the disadvantage is that if you randomly spending your money on bad projects you will ended up losing some of your money

Definitely buying at ICO is the best and gives cool profit in short or long term. Its important to know that all project will have ups and downs and a good project will always be good. Just DYOR and invest wisely. Whichever one you choose to do, make wise investments.

Buying during ICO is preferred. You never would know in advance how the project will turn out or how the market would receice such project. We can only speculate and prepare. And when opportunity meet preparation, then you know what it is!

I used to take part in many ICOs, but over time, when I entered the stock exchange, the coin began to fall strongly in price, I do not know why this happens, probably the investors who bought on pre-ico are selling. Now I buy tokens when they go to the stock exchange.

Its better buying in the ICO, though all of these times have their advantages and disadvantages
The last three projects, which I invested in the ICO stage, went to the stock exchange with a big minus. And it's not bad luck, only 10% of the projects can give a good profit. Therefore, it is better to buy after entering the exchange

Recently, you can buy a good coin after ico already on the stock exchange. I think this is due to bounty hunters. At the start of sales, they all sell immediately and the price goes down. So if you do not buy a large amount on the exchange to buy.

I invest when the token is already on the market and it is looking through the growth. Yes, there have been cases when I invested in the "+" during the ICO.

It's all depend on the project. If you really believe in it, buy on pre-ico.

Investing during the ICO is risky while on the other hand buying after the token sale or when it is already released in the market would be more practical. Nowadays, most of the ico tokens' market price are falling upon the release which yields to loss of profit for the investors. As such, an investor would be able to buy many tokens after the release which might result into huge profit when the price of a certain token starts to rise

I think it's safer to buy from the market.  There are lots of scamming in during crowdsale. I prefer to buy from the market.

Wow the price is certainly similar to something very impossible, but overall I do not think that the price will be that, I think that in the future this is possible but not this year, although who knows, maybe something incredible will happen and crypto currencies will be in demand around the world, but so far I do not see this and the world is busy with very different things, they are all happy with it, and we are creating a new world here.

it depends on how risky you are, how much money you willing to lose.
to me, I chose the safer one that wait till it's listed on exchanges to buy, even with higher price, if it have potential, we always have profit.
if you still want the ICOs, so good luck  Grin Grin

Everything depends on the dynamics of the market. If the market is growing then it is better to buy at ICO. If the market falls, it is better to wait for the coin to enter the exchange and buy cheaper prices ICO

first of all Everything depends on the project and the direction of the actions that the team is doing. It happens that during the sale of tokens you can buy coins at a discount, And on the exchange after distribution, you can sell several times more expensive.

if I choose, better at market time. because the coin price will go down at market entry.

I am supporting you here. Moreover, I think that we all had the coolest chances to buy the cryptocurrency in winter 2018 and in October of this year. Still, you can get some coins and have a profit later.

According to statistics, about 80% of ICO do not reach large exchanges with a large trading volume. The remaining 10-15% are much cheaper than ICO. If you calculate everything correctly, you can buy a promising coin on the exchange is much cheaper than on the ICO.

It depends on the coin. If you see that ico coin has big potential, team are very dedicated, technology behind it and its purpose is unique. It is good to buy during ico. There are also some coin that is good to buy when it is in the market.

it is better to buy coins at ico price mostly on pre-sale price once the ico coin got launched in the market the coins get dumped so we need to wait for months to get better price whereas in pre-sale we get at lowest price
