It depends on yourself. If you feel from the beginning that the project is really good then you can set aside some of your money for the project on ico. If you doubt you can wait until the market. But sometimes you will be a little disappointed after being in the market.

It depends. There are many advantages to buy during ICO because the price is low and it can grow a lot in the next weeks after the ICO OR it could go down

I think you should see the situation carefully, sometimes investing in ICO when the investors and the market in good condition you will earn profit so much even bounty hunters sell all of their tokens.

According to statistics, 80% of coins are traded below the prices of ICO, so you can invest in a coin after its listing on the exchange.

Everything depends on the project. And let the coin price in case of entry into the market can decrease because of bulk sellings, it is necessary to consider that participating in presale, you can receive the considerable bonus in the form of a gift for an involvement.

I, too, think that all depends on project . If this is a good project with a strong team, with good advisors ( as an example Merculet) it is best to participate in ICO. Tokens of such a project on the stock exchange will not cost less on the stock exchange.

It's better to invest in ICO, but it's just as risky.  It all depends on how much you trust the company.

I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

Usually if you invest in ICO, you get significantly more coins and at a lower price.

With the current market situation many people are really afraid to buy in ico. because most of the ico falls upon entering the market may be around 90%. only 10% ico will give us many advantages. for buying decisions in ico or the market all depends on your research before investing

Depending on the project you may decide to buy in the ICO period or the coin listed on the Exchange. ICO investment helps investors to buy at low prices and the opportunity to increase prices when the coins are traded but the risk is also quite large if the coins are scam or slow on the Exchage, while if you buy coins when the trade Investors will be less risky.

It all depends. what risks the project has and if it is qualitative at the ICO stage, then it is possible to invest. Now it is very difficult to find such projects and I would like to have more, but they still are. For example, EOT. This protocol has everything to change the situation with the gaming industry for the better, for example, the same opportunity to release games, but without costs. This will allow developers to produce products more often and they will be of high quality. In addition, I would be interested in using such a project and playing games through it. But yes, there is an opportunity to invest in the market, most often at good projects at this moment the price is not so interesting for the investor

The problem is that it's difficult to join the hypest ICO projects even if you've found them. E.g. Quarkchain had a multi-system qualification, it was difficult to pass this procedure, and there was a lottery among all winners. As a result, only few people have bought this. So everything is not so easy!

It's difficult to say when is the best time to purchase the tokens but if the project requires a KYC verification.  It would be better to wait and buy the tokens off of an exchange.

It will depend on you. If you think you like the project of the ICO you would like to invest. Better buy during the ICO since it will definitely help the project grow. Besides, buying during ICO will provide you more opportunity like bonuses and airdrop as well. Sometimes, when ICO is out in the market it is really rare to have a lower selling price than the usual ICO price.

I think it's better to buy coins during ICO. So a little safer, although there is no guarantee.

I think you should buy when ico period, because you can help the project directly rather than have to wait for it to appear on the exchange

April and May were good for investment in ICO, then downtrend began and situation changed. now I don't see many ICOs which are able to bring profit.

for I prefer to buy when already in the market, because usually the price is cheaper than the price of ICO and when we buy when ICO takes place has a big risk because we do not know whether the ICO will be successful or not and fear if the funds are taken away by the developer.

From my point of view, It depends on the potential of the project. The ICO project has very good fundamentals and has a bigger chance to succeed and have good reviews from the community. If everyone instilled then purchasing on ICO is the best choice. So you need to apply your criteria and you would think there would be a great spirit after ICO, then it might be a good idea to buy before you see if you see the reverse can be a good idea waiting after ICO.

there should be a special strategy to control the market from the developer, so that when the coins enter the exchange price is not destroyed
this is a PR for developers, to distinguish the treatment of investors and bounty hunter
hopefully ICO can return victorious again
