Is it better to buy during ICO or Market?

I think this depends with the kind of person you are, if you are a high risk taker then Buying in the ICO stage will be ideal to you as  a chance to get a potentially good amount of tokens of a good project at a cheap price will be availed, its however not a guarantee that these tokens will be of value as the success of the project is still in balance. Buying in the market on the other hand is quite ideal ass the token is proven and now its on the market forces to determine the value.The profits made hre are not as much as those who invested during the ICO gets when the project proves to be a success

we see from the progress of the project during the ICO, if indeed this project will succeed or achieve sales targets we can follow, but sometimes the price of the coin we buy decreased the price to below the price of ICO because bounty hunter sells its coins below the price of ICO, so I think better we buy when bounty hunter sells all his coins at a cheap price

I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

YEAH i agree with that in a downtrend you can't really buy from ICO even if you like the project as almost every ico that went out in this bear market are trading below ico price (notice i m talking about public price not private sale those can be very good with all the bonuses some get 100% but again that's exactly why you shoudn't buy into public sales) so yes and no if you have enough money to get into closed private sales go for it but investing in a public sale is not worth for me.

this is the current ICO phenomenon, first when the project is finished and the developer distributes the token, many tokens are sold directly so that the Token / coin price drops below the ICO price, this is often done by the bounty hunters, such as bounty campaign and airdrop, thinking when wanting to buy tokens at ICO.

But according from my own point of view I think
buying in the market is better because most
bounty hunters usually dump their tokens for
peanut it means extra cheap and affordable.

At present, when the market is in decline, the most optimal is buying after the ICO, when coins are minus at their prices.

Here everything depends on the situation on the market.  When the market grows, it is possible for us to buy coins on the ICO.  But this concerns only promising altcoins.  And in today's situation on the ICO to buy is not profitable.  If the coin immediately goes to the exchange, the price will be much lower and will go down.

I think it is better to buy or invest on the market rather than on the ICO stage, I think ICOs are kind of risky because they are still a projects that isn't finished, and when they are on the market they aren't finished either but on ICO stage the doubt of it being succesful is rather big.

Many new ICO are not upto mark in last some months and for that reason, many investors are now afraiding to invest in a ICO. As per market conditions, now it is best to buy a new coin from market rather then through ICO but when market conditions favor ICO then it is good to invest in ICO.

You are right=)BUT! For example. fiat pre ico investors can have extra dividends that would be much more profitable than if you buy after ICO ends.Bounty hunters often try to dump the price just after tokens are distributed but its natural. I have recently joined LCS exchange and saw just same picture:Price before ICO was higher, after that bounty hunters dumped it and soon it will grow again!It just depends on what will you receive as a profit and on what stage to invest. That's why people need to read WP=).

if you can sieve off the scam projects,the weak projects,then you are better off with an ICO or presale.Much of the current challenge are as aresult of the bears in the market

I believe bounty hunters are always responsible for that or even  the team members.No investors will sell his tokens on the first day for a loss after waiting for long.May be this trend will  change soon

I have realized based on my trading activity, most projects sell cheaper coins or tokens during the ICO campaigns. The discount and bonuses given during ICOs give more coins in the long run. Although there are some projects in which token already in the market produced smaller value.

Buying during ICO or market depends on the project. If the project is real good you will reach big profit, but we know many project ICO are scam so be carefull choosing them.

Yes most of the investor are buying during ICO because it is sometimes they can buy their in a low or cheap price compare to the market price. Especially if they notice that the project has a big chance or has a high oppurtunity to success they grab the oppurtunity as well by way of buying.

I think buying token during ICOs is better than Market. You will get some benefits when buying in ICO (rewards, project specific equipment, bonus token,..).  Secondly, it's cheaper than market. But it's not always right. I've seen projects whose token on market is cheaper than ICO    That's all depend on potential of projects.

It is because of the current market condition plus the abundance of icos that make people think that the price is always lower at the exchange, if you follow crypto last year when there's only five icos going on the same time you won't see any of them have bad price at exchange because the demand is high, now the supply of ico is way higher so there's not enough demand to keep the price.

Now it's better to buy when altcoin has already gone to the stock exchange. The price is mostly lower on the stock exchange than the sale in ICO. Because most of the bounties immediately drain everything they receive on the bounty. Accordingly, the price falls. And it is more reliable when altcoin is already on the exchanges.

Its better buying in the market because doing ico you wont know if the project will be listed or not, they are so many developers that after ico they just leave the token on etherdelta and forkdelta forever..
