Sometimes the bot suddenly stop. It's just running and suddenly got a message the the program is stopped. I am using Dicebot 3.1.2. Beta on Windows 10.

I don't get a error code just a message it's stopped. Is there an other way to see what went wrong? Is there a kind of error log?

In 3.1.2 beta, it should provide a reason for stopping. Can you give me the exact message please (or a screenshot thereof). Also, where are you betting. Unfortunately there is no log (yet, it's in the works).

I am betting on Magical Dice. Will make a printscreen the next time it happens. Sometimes it's within 10 minutes and an other time after a few hours.

It doesn't delete any files of the bot. I don't have any trouble using Windows 10. Of course it's legal. Was free to upgrade from Windows 7.

If I may ask, where did you get the name for your site? I used Google Translate and I set it to detect the language and it detected it as Afrikaans and it meant Boys? Is this where your name originate from? It is not Dutch, because boys in Dutch is <jongetjes>

Would be nice to know, if you are willing to share with us.  When I use a service and they use a strange name, I always ask. ^hmf^

I have tested. It works normally for me.
Are you sure you're clicking start and not just bet in the manual betting box (i've seen this happen mutliple times before, so i have to ask).
Does the bot work at any other site?
Do you have the bot set to try and reset the seed or withdraw on profit? It's possible that these conditions are triggering the whole time causing the message you're seeing.

As long as your software is not pirated, win10 doesn't delete anything. I am on windows 10 myself.

I am from South-Africa, and yes seuntjie is Afrikaans and it does mean boy or small boy depending on context. I got the nickname for my brother years ago and it just seems to have stuck

I managed to get a solution simply by selecting to change bet after some losses.
I think it is a bug, because, after 3 losses in a row, the bot should multiply the previous bet by 2.43 and not result in zeros.

BTW, after using this bot for a while i'd like to thank seuntjies for the great job he has been doing and suggest to add this "after some loss change bet" feature in the Bad Streak Table, so we can have a better idea of profit and maximum bets we can take.
In addition, Bad Streak Table does get the correct multiplier, but instead of this it gets the Devider, when we use the setting i showed you.

Some of your settings are being cut off and I can't see them. You can re-size the settings window by clicking and holding on the vertical bar between the settings panel and the bets/chart panel.

 The bad streak table is extremely out of date (like version 2.0.2 or something), I have been meaning to update it, but it's not quite as simple as some people would think. It's on the todo list though.

Hi seuntjie

A few issues I thought I would mention:

1. In the stats, the maximum bets seems to be one too many.

E.g. the below example shows that after 11 losses in a row I would have insufficient balance (0.01500773) to place the 12th bet (0.25408477).



However, the stats window says that the maximum bets is 12 but should be 11:





2. I reset the above stats about 2.5 hours ago and you can see my profit is 0.00333894 for that time period but the the profit per hour states 0.00229831. If that was true then my profit figure should be about 0.0057 for the 2.5 hours. Does this average out as time goes on, say after 24 hours?

3. When I reset the stats window the timer doesn't restart (the stats window above shows that it has been running for 20:41:28 but I reset it about 2.5 hours ago).

1. I'll take a look at it. I've actually been considering removing it completely because it can become impossible to calculate accurately with certain settings and as a result, only causes more confusion.

2. I haven't touched the code handling these calculations in months, so I can't remember exactly how it works, but there are probably quite a few things that could cause this discrepancy that I will look at.

3. The time shown there is supposed to be the total time running since starting the bot and is supposed to be unaffected by resetting the stats. This is probably partially to blame for the incorrect profit/h value in 2. I'll add another stat to show the "session" time, which will be since the last reset/since the last time clicking start

Can't you speed up the betting process in any of the sites you support. You told that pd has a limit. But does other sites like jd and others have similar limits?
Also, what is the size of the bot? I am on a pretty low speed connection now and when i start downloading it, it doesnt show the size, it just keeps on downloading.

The betting speed is mostly limited by ones internet connection, and as you say, your's isn't extremely fast. Also, most sites can only handle so many bets. Keep in mind that there are likely tens or hundreds of other people betting at the site at the same time and most sites can only handle about 150 - 200 bets/s. So the higher the traffic to the site, the slower betting becomes for everyone.

I can't really speed up the betting more than I have already because as it is it already mostly dependent on internet speed and site load. And yes, most other sites also do have some limitations, especially when betting smaller amounts.

The bot is only about 3MB (the 3.1.2 Beta is 3.1MB) so it should finish in a few minutes, even on a slow connection.

It all depends on the dice website you are betting I think, the bot bets as fast as it can.

I have difficulty using new version after 3.0.2 on my vps.
I can use version 3.0.2 to log in Primedice on my vps.
But I can not do so with the newer versions. Any solution?

Does the bot show any error messages when it tries to log in? Does your VPS have the latest .net updates installed? I can't really give you a solution because I'm not sure what the issue is. Some more details would help.

I am also trying the bot at 999dice but it bets really slow there. If I use the bot from their site it goes superfast but with your bot it just 1 bet a 1 or 2 seconds. Is that a known problem or is it just a setting?

it is not commonly known, but 999Dice does throttle smaller bets. This is partly to blame for the sluggishness. There is another rather big bug that slows down betting at 999dice which will be fixed soon(ish). The bug is actually pretty large and causes coins to be "leaked". I suggest betting at another casino until I release a version that fixes the bug for 999dice.

Ok thanks for the quick reply. I bet the same amount in both bots so that can't be the problem then. Just using there own bot till your is fixed.

Price? Won't the bot benefit you too also? I guess the price would be maybe something tangible or proof to make it a little harder for the creator not to run away with the idea? NDA?

Why would the bot benefit me as well? I'm a programmer and I charge for my services. If you want me to implement a feature in the bot that is complex or a lot of work, I will charge for it. It's how it has been from the start.

The bot is open source. I plan to keep it that way. How can i run away with the idea that way? And what use would an NDA be if i am going to disclose the source code anyway?

If you don't want to pay, you can always make the changes yourself. Or get someone else to do the changes for free ( which i doubt will happen)
