I like this project and it adds real value to the use of blockchain in the world.
Yes and the developer is always making updating for the project here is :

A New Mobile Operator Launched on the Basis of Bubbletone app
A new mobile operator — Bubblephone — has been launched on the basis of the Bubbletone app. The new operator subscribers will be able to use mobile services at local region prices while travelling both around Russia and all over the world.
The key features of the Bubblephone project are as follows: the network subscribers do not need to purchase a new SIM-card and they are provided with communication services at local prices not only in Russia, but also while travelling around the world.
Read more here: https://medium.com/@bubbletone/a-new-mobile-operator-launched-on-the-basis-of-bubbletone-app-d2d9014f1033

The people behind this bubblephone mobile operator is also the bubbletone team right?
This is surprising, I didn't read this plan in the whitepaper, maybe I missed it but you really aim high for this project. You weren't kidding when you said you have years of experience in telecom industry.
I am sorry if i have made mistake but i don't said that i have year experience in telecom industry, i am just an investors of bubbletone's ICO and try to give the latest updating information about the projects on here, hopefully it will gives good information for all of investors on here, if i have missed out something let me know. Thank you very much

I actually mean yuri. Yuri I remember him saying he had been in the industry for more than 20 years. Its just unfortunate to see they didn't get much funds from the investors. If the ICO started when the price of ETH is falling too. I hope to see the token listed on more exchange, binance would be great for this project.
Yes i hope umt will be listed on binance too and here is the latest updating about the ICO of bubbletone:
BUBBLETONE COLLECTS $8.6 MILLION VIA ICO AND SUCCESSFULLY TESTS PROPRIETARY ROAMING-FREE SIM CARD

The blockchain-based global telecom platform Bubbletone has successfully completed its ICO, collecting $8.6 million. All Universal Mobile Tokens (UMT) will be issued to crowdsale participants by 10 July.

Soon the company plans the market launch of an original roaming-free Bubbletone SIM card that developers are already actively testing in the US and Europe. In addition, a Bubbletone affiliate – Baltic Clementvale LTD – has applied for admission to the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and received an MVNO license. As a result, Bubbletone will be able to create its own offers for clients in the European market of telecommunication services. UMT token holders will be able to enjoy these and many other innovative benefits.

When will the team provide the instructions for setting up the nodes?

Why not just do it on exchanges, you should be buying there if you don't like KYC. Its one of the bullshit requirements this time, I don't know why there is the need for it when they know people can still buy the token anonymously in in exchanges. Users can even buy privately from the bounty hunters so long as they agree on prices.

First exchange will be hitbtc, most of the investors have bought it on pre-sale when eth price was a lot more than today, I hope it starts with good profit for investors.

Team announced that the platform is under stress test, so normally it means that very soon they will lunch its main net.
Looking forward for a fixed release date, this information definitely will effect the price positively.

I was under the impression this would not require a SIM card, but this model could work as well.
Was that changed sometime into development?

Hi
Latest blog post have listed a few countries that their citizens won't get their tokens.
So what could they do? Do you refund them? Do you let them to sell their tokens to someone else?
Or bubbletone will simply scam them because they are citizens of a poor county?

Which blog post is that?

I can't find that information on their medium blog. If my country is listed then I'm going to ask for refund too. I'm not sure whether they have published such list before but they should have like the rest of the ICO who restricted some countries. If you can post the link of that blog post please do.

They should make this list before, it is really unprofessional, and they did not clear what these people can do.

Thanks. I got it. Mine is not listed. KYC is just something that hurdles progress in crypto, those countries has to be approved after all they are part of this world. Basically that just get them behind while the rest are off to go. Financial freedom is just too hard to achieve for the individuals in those countries, maybe we can all say this is still centralized crypto sphere.

Tokens will be distributed in coming days, what do you think about its price?
In a good market it could trade 1$ a token but now all tokens are in a deep hole.

ICO price = 470[$/ETH]/4000[UMT/ETH] = 0.1175[$/UMT] ------ (ICO price floor in $)
2,000,000 (UMT Bounty Fund) * 0.1175[$/UMT] = 235,000$ ---- (We don't know how many tokens are distributed from Bounty Fund so far)

This should be contract address 0x6d026901a557ae0309c15594176a8203fc95e23e and if so you can check latest distribution progress here: (https://etherscan.io/token/0x6d026901a557ae0309c15594176a8203fc95e23e#balances)
