Is product important for a project?

Product is indeed very important and valuable. It is the product that mostly catches the attention of the possible investors. Mostly projects with products proves there worth and legitimacy.

  Precisely, project can only be called a successful with a good working product. And definitely important  to gain a reliable profits.

Well that mainly determines of a project is profitable and legitimate or not. I'd have doubts in investing on projects that wouldn't have working products or at least have that in their road maps. It's hard to just simply invest because you heard something good in an ad so research is essential.

There are many parameters inevitable for success of an ICO like Development team,core idea (product),community,whitepaper.Product is important because if an ICO does not have clear to show to the community then it would certainly fail.Innovative idea that may have some kind of superiority over other projects would certainly lead ICO towards success and would be supported by community as well.If we talk of ETH,smart contract feature would suddenly come into mind.

working product is a good prospect but why will a working product seek an ICO. Such product should rather go to market straight and try to get traders. ICO should not always be exploited. Sometimes I support buterin with opinion on ICO. ICO should be for the less financially privileged to raise fund to develop their project not the other way round.
