Since BitcoinZ is getting its own algorithm called Zhash, it would've been awesome to just rebrand it to Z (and keep BTCZ as the code).
Rebranding is not a bad thing. Just look at Raiiblocks becoming Nano. Raiiblocks was a shitty name tbh. Nano is a cool name, easily remembered.
And BitcoinZ is just one of many BitcoinSOMETHING coins. And people already think that BitcoinZ is a fork of Bitcoin, but it's not.
Sooner or later, BitcoinZ WILL NEED its own identity.

Hello Community and Devs! ASICs are ALREADY mining BTCz!BTCz has come under mine-n-dump attack since mid March. I believe this is because Bitmain finished their Z9 manufacturing and released units onto their cleanrooms to start mining all kinds of Equihash coins just to mine-n-dump. Bitmain thinks the Z9 profitability will hit practically zero (breakeven) around June or July and thats when they will shop the units to make the last $2000 off of the units. We need your ZHASH fork implemented sooner to kill the ASICs who are killing BTCz by dumping everything they mine. If a fork is implemented you will notice how the difficulty will drop significantly (like it did with Monero) and ASICs will be booted out! BOOT OUT THOSE ASICS!Mining started first of January. Difficulty tripled and so did net hash rate in short time period. I hope parameter change is not built into Z9. Proposed Zhash {n=144, k=5}. |

Why is everyone interested in getting BTCz on exchanges? That has never helped any coin's adoption. BTCP lost 40% in 5 days after being listed on HitBTC. Come on guys, wake up and stop spending 10BTC on crap like Coinbene and spend that on the devs who are working so hard on this project.
We don't need more exchanges. Exchanges make money off of fees so its their loss if they dont list us.

The fundamental idea of these are totally different, BTCP has huge marketing budget but is also more centralised than BitcoinZ. Also in price is a huge difference, BitcoinZ is far more undervalued compared to BTCP. What is the reason why BTCP worth 30 USD meanwhile BTCZ only 0,0035 USD? The over 8500 times difference can not be explained with fundamentals, not even with the difference in maximum coin supply of 21M/21B. So we need more exchanges for decentralisation and bigger exchanges for higher volume and visibility. -------------------------- BitcoinZ: Deserves to be listed on top exchanges! |

Bit-Z exchange is not for pump&dump. We need one top10 exchanges to better visibility, taken more seriously and investors were not afraid to buy. Lots of my friends not use smaller exchanges like btc-alpha or stocks.exhange. I use them without any problem. However, my friends do not want to. It is people like them who are waiting for a larger stock exchange.

Please stop with the Bit-Z thing. We are not buying their dumpa$$ token to just vote. All the budget should go to the devs who are working so hard to make BTCz better. Not to exchanges. If we make an application with a 10BTC fee for exchanges to apply to devs for permission to list BTCz I bet you many exchanges will line up and send the money. |

ZCL was around 2,5 USD half year ago. Who kept that after the BTCP fork and still keeping it, right now 1 ZCL + 1 BTCP cost 13 USD + 28 USD = 41 USD all together. This means that in half year the price increased 16,4 times, without any fundamental value added, or any state of the art features. (while comparing with pumped prices in the beginning of January when ZCL was 235 USD, the difference is over 90 times) So taking into account all of these ZCL and BTCP are still highly overvalued compared to their intrinsic value, driven only by good marketing and centralised pump and dump strategy. Ony the efficient marketing is what we should learn from them. Sooner or later the advantages of BitcoinZ will be appreciated by the investors, and that will be reflected also in a much higher volume and price. -------------------------- BitcoinZ: The intrinsic value of this coin is significantly higher than the market price. It's time to buy! |
