Downloaded and installed wownero-gui-win-busty-brazzers.zip but unable to create a new wallet. I'm able to go past "seed" generation but as soon as I start to type something on the first password field, it bombs out. There's no problem typing something on the second password field though.

Yeah, development for that application stopped a few months ago. It is very buggy. You should use the command line wallet of the latest release here: https://github.com/wownero/wownero/releases/latest

There is a proposal for a Light Wallet here: https://funding.wownero.com/proposal/17. Anyone who would like to see an easy to use wallet with a graphical interface, please consider donating.

Is it mandatory update ?

Today I launch 0.2.2.0 as usually, but sync stopped at 53666.
And wallet shows that it's 100% sync.

So I decide that I'm on wrong chain, I delete all related with WOWNERO, started to download blockchain from the beginning and again the same - Height: 53666/53666 (100.0%) on mainnet.
Did it twice. Nothing helps.

Update your daemon & wallet. You need to be running v0.3.x ... the network hard-forked at block 53666.

I updated (git pull) and performed git checkout v0.3.0.0 and when i execute git status, it shows head detached at v.0.3.0.0, and binaries are dated today, but when i type version on the wownerod status screen, it still shows Busty Brazzers' (v0.2.0.0-master-7859424, hope it's just a label thingy...

It seems to have synced to the latest block height per the wownero blockexplorer and v9 shows up on the status.

I had the same issue. Apparently you need to do a fresh clone to get the version message to update, but yea, it's just a label thingy and not a real issue.

I had the same issue. Apparently you need to do a fresh clone to get the version message to update, but yea, it's just a label thingy and not a real issue.
