Yeah, development for that application stopped a few months ago. It is very buggy. You should use the command line wallet of the latest release here: https://github.com/wownero/wownero/releases/latest

There is a proposal for a Light Wallet here: https://funding.wownero.com/proposal/17. Anyone who would like to see an easy to use wallet with a graphical interface, please consider donating.

There's also wownerujo on Google play store that seems to work ok.

Also, hard fork coming up soon on Oct 6ish. Stay tuned...

Thank you both. Though I'm somewhat CLI-averse, I'm gonna opt to run my own node just to be consistent on my part (privacy, security, etc.) until a working official GUI comes around. I take it that wownerod.exe has to be ran manually first before wownero-wallet-cli.exe could sync with the network, right?

yea run mownerod then when synced run the cli.

I believe not all Wownero mining pools are listed in miningpoolstats. There is a huge discrepancy of the sum of the listed pools hashrate if you compare it with the network hashrate.
