if you are not expert in trade you should trade on very low amount of you budget. because loss will be expected. in low amount trade you will learn about trade. and always before the investment first read about  the developers of coin are professional or  not and also about the success of coin.

I think you should know what's the difference between trading and investing. Trading is a process where you can earn a huge amount of money in just a short term of time because you'll just have to do the buy and sell while Investing is a process where you can earn a huge amount of money in the long term of time. Both process is profitable. It is all up to your skills which one suit you the most.

Ok, lets go step by step.

1.- Buy Bitcoins. For this you can use localbitcoins, open and account on that site, place a buy order, then make a bank transfer to pay for them or a bank deposit.

2.- Send the bitcoins to Poloniex (or any other exchanger), and start buying some alt coins.

3.- Wait for the bump, after that sell the alt coins back to bitcoins, send the btc to localbitcoins and then sell the bitcoins back to cash on localbitcoins.

This is the easy way to do it, but isn't the only one, there are lot of ways to do trading. But after you try this method the other ways will be easy for you.
