People pulling out their money or trying to pull out their money. Market value is driven by supply and demand. If more people are selling than people are buying then the price will go down as a lack of demand forces sellers to lower their prices until demand catches back up with them.

As for what triggers it, its the "invisible hand" of capitalism, I guess. Sometimes things are triggered by a major news story, sometimes its just a weird gestalt consciousness type event where enough people decide to start selling their holdings at the same time - this is pretty common after a steep rise like what was witnessed over the past week.

This is only an apparent dip. Look at the chart of any top coin like Ripple or Bcash, you see a sudden dip which is not natural, in fact there wasn’t any real dip, it’s just that CoinMarketCap decided not to take into account some Korean markets in the algorithm that calculates the price. They did this because the price in those markets was much higher and didn’t reflect the actual value of the coins. So, now the market has assumed a more realistic value

Look at the price charts of total crypto market cap on coinmarketcap YTD. It barely reached ATH on June 20 before rapidly selling of and then moving into a sideways movement. We'll likely see a break in prices, and I won't be surprised if it's down.

A large pump is generally followed by similar dump and price fall.
The coins also in general decreases with decreasing price of BItcoin and Ethereum.

I think biggest reason is bad news and new events and market situation. Market situation is very bad last seven months and big investors do not trust the cyrptomarket.
