The reason everything is dropping. People are scared SEC & The FCC will shutdown exchanges, ICO's and anyone not following securities laws that now also apply to crypto.

SEC Warns Unregistered Cryptocurrency Exchanges Against Listing Security Tokens

The SEC just made it clearer that securities laws apply to most cryptocurrencies and exchanges trading them >

Cryptocurrencies Plunge 23% Overnight as SEC, Tokyo Whale Trigger Mass Exodus

What are your thoughts on this matter?
I think just some countries were just afraid that their citizens are out of control. But in this and the whole point of the crypto currency, and only because of this it received such support!

I do not think this is enough to cause a downtrend in the crypto market, but that apart from this, there are people who decide the price of coins in the market. These set of people have huge investment and are also known as whales. They can cause both uptrend and downtrend in the prices of coins.

The reason is that the whales become more hungry for money, so they can dump and pump the price of bitcoin whatever they want. It is very easy, because the cap of a whole market is under 200B$.

I think that real reason of the overall falling of the cryptomarket is huge influence of some big financial whales. It is very easy for those who have billions of dollars to change situation on fragile cryptomarket with not so big capitalization.

I feel sad on what is the market having now.
but this time is also the elimination stage.
weak hands will be gone in the market because of this fall...
only wise man will stand out on this one.
look at this, weak hands will be wipe-out while wise holders will gain more tokens.

Failure is because you can not be patient, during this time the cryptographic market is always falling low, but if we find that the market never grows, expect so much, the market will growth again

Many people in the crypto industry doesn't realize the market was being manipulated by these whales for the past few years until today. Because they possessed huge quantities of coins, the market's been easily affected and the price was basically going down or going up, depending on what they desire to happen. Another reason is a lot of crypto users were in a panic state because of the red market's status, and there was FUD happening and its causing them to sell their tokens for a low price and as a result, it was being bought by these whales and sell them for a high price.

The hacker's penetration into a major trading floor has caused the cryptocurrency market to seriously impact the prices of coin that are typically impacted by ethereal and some government policies that significantly affect the market

This is very narrow viewed to think that SEC is the only thing that matters .
These news and regulation action could be only short term catalisators but not the trend, the trend is bearish because we had a huge bubble and we are still feeling the hangover of it.

actually, there are several reasons why the crypto prices on the market go down and even are getting down. one of them is that so many people who sell coins at low prices. therefore, it will make the crypto prices are down in the market. when prices are falling like this it would be better if we avoid panic sell and try to hold the coins that we have for a while.

It's very simple there was a good growth now goes bitcoin down and behind him stretch all the coins but by the end of the year people will regret that now sell and exit the market in panic.

They are trying to regulate crypto because like the stock market, these are the avenues the rich make more money while people who are hoping to atleast make some profit are being ripped off in a legal manner supported by the government. This way they can retain control over the masses.

The seasonal factor is also important. In summer most traders are on vacation, with all their money withdrawn. That's why the market is slack. Even those being at home stop trading because of this. It's a snowball effect!

Although bad news and the FUD can certainly lower a market, I also believe that market manipulation is a big culprit, we can never ignore the whales that sell cheap to lower the price and then take advantage of the FUD generated to keep it down and they can buy even lower, so they earn incredible profits in a short time only manipulating the minds of investors who do not get informed properly.

We are still in a bearish trend, and the SEC delayed decision about ETF is just making the trend more negative. But don’t everything is still on track we are just experiencing the exit of the week hands and later on we will move upward again.

Agreed, this can be a seasonal effect. In the past when China was a big player of bitcoin whenever there is a vacation there will be price fluctuations. Similar things have been taking place by now, which will change over the next few months time as we're getting towards the year end.
