Both the coins have tremendous potential to grow but you have very low capital,i would advise you to invest in Coins which are below $1.If you invest in  NEO which is currently traded around $70,investment in NEO with this small capital would not be beneficial because you would not be able to get much return.So you should go for ADA,its value is less than $1 and you can buy it in good quantity and engage in day to day trading which is most suitable way to trading.

I agree that NEO is a very good bet and has a lot more room to grow compared to Ethereum for example. As much as these 3rd gen platforms as EOS or Cardano look really interesting, for now Ethereum and NEO are the only ones that actually have new ICOs using their platform. Ethereum is the established player, NEO the challenger.

Why don't you diversify and buy into both? You can take 50% and buy into neo and the other 50% in ada, that would be wise.

With 150$ that you hold, buy one NEO coin that is around 85-90$ currently and with the rest 65-60$ buy ADA. The conundrum with China banning ICOs is still an issue as far as I know, which makes me wonder how ICOs will be launched from their platform (of which there are some supposedly)... maybe they're not based in China?

If I had excess BTC floating around I would probably buy some. I downloaded their Android wallet and am fascinated by the idea of Gas. If they are as friendly and compliant with the Chinese government as they say they are then I think the coin has massive potential.

All coins are of course seasonal and their big-time success is dependent on whale investor appetite for the crypto marketspace. Given that, if the market is still collapsing from its bubble phase, I wouldn't recommend investing in any coin until the storm blows over.

i don't mean to hijack the thread but I've been a medium term hodler of ADA and am not happy with it. I think issues stemming from Daedalus, the main wallet client, keep it from achieving much adoption. Perhaps when those are solved things will look up.

Both NEO and ADA are great platforms. But have smart contract application and are far advanced in technology than ETH. If I had to choose between ADA and NEO, I would choose NEO, the reason behind this is, we have seen NEO grow steadily and significantly in the past few months.

NEO according to me has more room to grow than ADA. Though the team working on ADA is good and was founded by one of the former of ETH, the team of NEO often seems more hardworking and transparent. NEO also aims at connecting the outside world information and problems with the blockchain technology to provide solution.

ADA is certainly exciting too and the tech under the hood seems to be superior over NEO, the major difference is that there are already ICOs on the NEO platform while I doubt we will see any ICO on ADA before next year. Therefore I think it is really hard to compare these two platforms. I would rather compare NEO with ETH and ADA with EOS or ICON.

Definitely worth it! But I would distribute the money equally on these two assets, because both projects look very promising this year, they also have a strong product and team.
