alternative that rivals the ETH

Ethereum is used by 90% of the ICOs and there are so many rivals of ethereum blockchain which have to proove them yet. There are few blockchain projects which I feel can be biggest competitors of ethereum like NEO, EOS, ZIL. Presently NEO is doing well and is the closest rival of ethereum blockchain. The traction of the NEO blockchain project is really improving day by day with so many good projects and are very impressive.

I wont say the traction of NEO is improve day by day if I were you because there will be small increase in the supply of NEO GAS every year, investors can only invest or buy a whole coin and NEO team are know for not working according to the time/date they promise to implement something.

In the coming years there will be a lot of platform that will rival and compete with ethereum network, unless ethereum network improves on their network service and scale their network, those other platforms, might over take ethereum.

It is not going to be that easy, I know that many think that just because a coin has appeared that is marginally better, then the dominant coin is going to replaced, but things do not work like that, you cannot apply the same logic that you apply to smartphones to this market, ETH has such a huge advantage that is going to be almost impossible to surpass it unless the other coin is many times better than ETH.

I don't think any coin can compete with ethereum on its own blockchain. It's like comparing BTCCASH to Btc..  It's just not possible

If indeed there is such that this will certainly be a contender worth to ethereum. and even not impossible would be able to replace the ethereum if it has a better system. during the ethereum still as good as it is now with the large platform then nothing will be beyond it.

There are quite a few, NEO to mention one allows contracts, tokens and unique tokens on its very own ultra-fast chain and it is gaining in adoption every day.

But you are not taking into account the economic interests of the people, do you really think that people are going to let a coin like ethereum fall behind just because a slightly better coin appears? The people invested in ethereum are going to lose everything that they have invested in that coin, they are not going to allow that and they will do everything in their power to keep ethereum at the top.

IMO, Neo is one rival of ETH that is strong. It has a big community and promising coin from China. There is one additional feature to stake Neo for Gas which we don’t see it knn ETH yet.

I think a big rival was NEO but now it seems like it dropped to the undersoil, it lost almost all of it's value in just a couple of months, now i think that EOS or Cardano are the best alternatives to ethereum.

Here are Waves, EOS and NEO I believe. ETH is verey strong crypto currency and there are not so mand rivals for it now. I prefer to think that EOS will be better than ETH.

I do not think that there are any altcoins that is posing challenges to ethereum, the only one and best cryptocurrency so far. Ethereum is so amazing that it will even beat bitcoin in the coming future. Its team and technology are amazing. Although its prices are lower at this point of time, it will reach the moon soon. We should accept and support the foundations of trying to develop better than the old ones. I am not loyal to any altcoins but I always support the new and potential of the market in the future. because it can be profitable for me.

Every coin has lost its value in this dip. EOS is good but costs of making dApp on it are pretty high.

I think that we already have existing coins that are already posing as alternate rivals to the coin Ethereum. See waves and Neo. Ethereum is one very good coin, and one that I love, but  If the market situation keeps going the way it is now, then I think they would come a time when these coins would be more valuable than Ethereum, sadly.

There legit contenders for ethereum as far as its use case or blockchain is concern. I have researched about some that plays almost equally as Etehreum does. They are Neo - NEO, Cardano - ADA, Qtum (QTUM), and Ethereum Classic (ETC). So far, these cryptocurrencies are also listed in the top 40 cryptos.

KMD Komodo is a great coin with many features.  Smart contracts are being worked on now.  The team behind Komodo has constantly worked on the project and it has great potential.

There are a lot of good contenders my take is Credits, they are one of the successful ICO in the market even though the market is in red they have created a lot of buzzes and had huge supporters here but it will still take a couple of years before they reach their potentials.

Really, I'm one that like to think that regardless of what a lot of us think that these coins are in a competion, and are rivals of themselves, I believe that each coin is riding at its own pace just to make a name for itself.  I don't necessarily think they are rivals of themselves, and as such, I do not believe that there are any rivals to ETH.
